Brilliant at last a glimmer of hope for psychoanalysis, a movement in a truly honest, open and potentially intimate encounter with lasting usefull insight it might bring. Yes also a bridge to other forms of psychotherapy, Rogerian, Group work much more useful to patients in the real world away from the couch.

Explained beautifully but we need more of it . More depth.
I truly apreciate the way you can - confortably - blend theories. It shows curiosity and love for knowledge and most and foremost, serious personal analytical work, which all of us have to do in irder to go beyond the tiranny of the big I.
That tells me if Freud was right, the current practice is in a horrible direction. Almost everyone has personal relationships with their patients (in the sense that they know their names and their lifes and other personal information) but I guess you can't make money otherwise!

I'm watching this video and I'm struck by how much Intersubjectivity is reflective of post modernism, systemic concepts of differentiation, and critical theories eg., critical race theory, queer theory, and crip theory, in opening to the possibilities of 'not knowing and co-creating.' The clinical is political. I'm from New England and the psychoanalytic communities in this area are quite conservative. Historically, these schools have been very cold and removed from relationship. It's good to see that psychoanalysis is moving towards a greater appreciation of systems and interconnectivity as pathways into the courageous act of relational psychotherapy, authenticity, and healing. Thanks for your channel!
