I personally prefer the older version but it’s hard to compare them because they’re almost completely different songs. They’re both good shit though and I’m glad I found this band.
I have no idea who these guys are, but glad I tunes has their music. I’ve listened to metal/rock my whole life and this is a cool clash of styles of music. I like it
really like the idea for this project, keeps traditional local music alive. Ending the time cells on a note from the traditional instruments was really interesting compositionally speaking.
The other day I was listening to war horse while watching the horses run at the ranch I volunteer at, the beat matched perfectly with their hooves which was pretty damn awesome! :) ;) Love you guys!
I have to imagine you're taking the music in another direction from where you originally intended for personal reasons. That being said, I REALLY find myself preferring the original, maybe its just the heavier/deeper beat. I honestly don't do 'screamo' type metal that the original version reminded me of but it just had a darker vibe to it that worked with the mental image many think of when they envision Temujin's (Genghis Khan's birth name) warriors riding. It worked wonderfully in a similar way to the deep rolling voice Rammstein songs use. I have to imagine that was your inspiration considering the comment mentioning you enjoy their music.
Wow, seriously really nice job! The throat singing totally unironically DOES fit metal really well! Maybe one day the only types of singing left in metal are growls, clear singing and this, since these seem to be the only ones that really sound melodic and not just trendy or whatever. If this thing lasts, unless there were many before you guys, then you would be pioneers of a new style or perhaps a new segment in metal music. I wish you good luck. Awesome songs.
Please Tengger Cavalry, reupload the older version. This is good but not as great as the older one. Do it please, lots of your fans would appreciate it!
Im half russian, half buryat. Buryats are one of the tribe derived from Mongolia and residing in Russia. Really nice music, hits the string of my partially mongolian DNA. Это очень круто! Купила ваш альбом на бэндкемп, жаль, что распались.
After hearing some of your songs i am very excited to see what you guys did for DOOM Eternal (it said on your wiki that you guys did something for DOOM Eternal, Vocals would be my guess, and your guitar work is pretty heavy to fit in too, so i have no idea what to expect). \m/
hi. I hope this is not to forward. but iam interested how the "old" version of war horse and the "new" version happened? why is there a this great gap between this versions. in sound and style. i like both of them but i prefer the "older" version which lead me to you guys in the first place, a year ago. by the way awsome music keep it up! iam just curious what lead you to this new version. if this question is to personel or inconvenient just ignore it. ill like you anyways ;)
Ohhhh I like this. I have listened to Altan Urag for about 8 years now and this is the first heavy Mongolian band other than them I have really liked a lot. I was in Mongolia last spring and desperately wanted to buy a horse fiddle. I found one I loved at a shop in Mörön for what would be about $200 (US). But I was afraid it would get broken on the trip back to the states. I still want one, but now would need to buy it online instead. The problem is, I know that a lot of them are purely decorative because it is lucky to have one in your house. So, my question to any Mongolian people here, is how can a get a horse fiddle online that I can actually learn how to play (not just a wall ornament) that isn't super expensive? Anybody know?
I hope its mid or late May. I'll be gone at the beginning of that month. I really hope I don't miss you guys again. Do you have a tour schedule up some where yet?

Rest in peace, Nature. The world misses you.
Rest in peace, dear Batyr. Thank you for this music
He will live on forever through his music and the way he genuinely touched the hearts of all of his friends and fans.
Breaks my heart. So much more music to make, gone way too soon.
I hate when I find out about a wonderful new artist after they're already gone. So sad.
If i may out of all respect, ask how?
This never gets any less badass, no matter how many times I listen to it
aww glad you like it!
I keep coming back to this song, I love it so much. Rest in power Nature, your music went hard
Rip Nature! Find peace amongst the Golden Horde!
No golden horde worst khaanate
I personally prefer the older version but it’s hard to compare them because they’re almost completely different songs. They’re both good shit though and I’m glad I found this band.

MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS BAND!!!
I love the unique and calming sound of Tengger Cavalry.
thank you Nich!!
This was the first song I've heard from this band and now I'm really in love. You guys make epic music
This band is the most interesting thing what's happened in music for years and I haven't been aware of that until a couple days ago... :-)
and we are glad you found us hehe
Pertti Matikainen listen to The Hu, you won’t regret it if you think this is cool.
@@nicholaslaughlin730 Thanks, but the last thing they need is more of the promo that Tengger Cavalry never got. The Hu are great, but not even close.
I have no idea who these guys are, but glad I tunes has their music. I’ve listened to metal/rock my whole life and this is a cool clash of styles of music. I like it
I love the style and tone of the song. It's just a little bit dangerous getting all in battle mode while driving public transport
This is my new favorite metal/traditional music band. Actually, it’s seems pretty universal to me. The throat singing, the rhythm. This rules!
Tengri bless you 🙏🐺🖤
the sound on this song is perfect.... love it.
TENGRI BLESSES YOU NATURE!
From France, Thank's for this song ! (And your album :D !) Hope you will continue !
