Story behind this song Thanks to the animation film "Mulan," people around the world have become very familiar with the story of the archetypal female Kungfu warrior who fought against the nomads from Mongolia. Yet the motion picture omitted one crucial fact: the Chinese dynasty that Mulan served was actually forged by another nomadic tribe Xian Bei that came from the edge of Mongolia and North East China around A.D. 155. That dynasty became part of China as they abandoned the nomadic lifestyle and started practicing farming instead. With China’s modern education ignoring the ancient nomadic settlements, the history between China and Mongolia pretty much becomes a Great Wall version of the American War of Independence. Yet what modern education is hiding from the public is the fact that long before the Mongols came to power, the northern settlers of China were already coming from Siberia and Mongolia. They became part of the ancient Chinese dynasties and histories simply due to the fact that the nomadic lifestyle no longer suited the farming landscapes, and thus it was eventually abandoned. Further, the lines between nomads and settlers were originally not as clear as how politicians delineate them today.
Tengger Cavalry Official yet the they built the Great Wall to separate us because they knew that some good fraction was living in the mainland due to the trading operation. They burned every single historical text and brain washed us that we where maio now 90 percent of Hmong think that we are Chinese but we aren’t the 10 percent now still agree that we came from Mongolia because of our clothing designing and our faith with Tengri. Love the song keep up the great work guys.

I come back to watch Tengger Cavalry videos again and I found out that Nature passed away mere days ago. I mourn for the loss of such a powerful voice, and such a talented man. Rest in peace
Thanks to Stevie T, I now know of this incredible and interesting band. Song's pretty catchy. It's so fvcking unfortunate that the man who started the band died. I hope that he's having a wonderful afterlife.
For the first year of Nature's passing, a little over a year actually, I listened to Tengger Cavalry every single day. I listened to basically their entire discography every single day for the first 6 months, and then mostly just the full lengths, with different releases thrown in for the next six months. I believe that this was both my way of coping with the loss of an artist that I went from watching poor video/audio quality live performances that they did in China, not knowing thinking I would ever be fortunate enough to see them live, to getting to watch them do a live performance in the US before the release of Die On My Ride. Nature's memory still lives on through his music. It is difficult to believe that we lost him almost 2 years ago, how different things were back then, and how we will never get another release from this band. Rest in Power, Nature Ganganbaigal. You will never be forgotten.
I hope you are doing better. Sadly, I only just discovered Tengger Cavalry a few weeks ago. I kept thinking about how incredibly emotion-filled the music is. Has soul and feels alive. Was excited to look up to see if they'd released any new albums, and if they'd be performing in North America anytime soon. That's when I found out that Nature had passed away, under tragic circumstances at 29 years old (same age that I currently am). Hit me like a truck, and I can't listen to their music anymore without crying. It's truly devastating that such emotional music comes from a place of so much pain, and the artists who make them often don't stay with us for very long. Sorry for the rant, just going through this pain now, many years too late, and with very people in my life who understand. Would love to know how the live performance you went to was!
I just saw the recent Doom Eternal making the music video. I wish I wasn a fan when I first listened long ago, but for some reasoni wasn't. I'm glad Nature is a part of the game, alongside all those other vocalists; I'll definitely check out more songs from Tengger Cavalry and the others who are involved in Doom Eternal.
