I have a Euroarms reproduction of that rifle in .58 cal. I have never found a ball and patch combination or correctly sized minie bullet that fire accurately out of mine. It is a beautiful rifle, but needs a better rifled barrel than it currently has. It has become a wall hanger. I have a .58 Cal. Euroarms Confederate Artillery Carbine that shoots very accurately with patch and ball. I have won several 1st prizes at my club shoots with it.

@@556suppressor I do not know. I am too old to worry about it, and my eyesight is failing. I wish I had kept the 1st one I bought.
