9.2 Manual of PCI - How to perform balloon angioplasty

Balloon angioplasty is performed using the following steps:
1. Confirm optimal guidewire position
2. Confirm guide aspirated/flushed
3. Select balloon size/type
4. Prepare balloon
5. Load balloon on guidewire
6. Advance through Y-connector
7. Advance to tip of guide
8. Advance to target lesion
9. Inflate balloon
10. Deflate balloon
11. Withdraw balloon into guide catheter
12. Remove balloon
13. Check balloon angioplasty result
