Are those skid plates stock on all the Defenders? Are you just running the stock front differential? I'm looking at a base model HD8 and trying to see how they hold up. Thanks.
How did it feel going up steep climbs? Is the center of gravity really bad for climbing, I realize its not an X3, ha? I'm in the market for a new rig and have been looking at X3's. But I will only get to go ride trails (rocky steep) maybe once a month but I have a small cattle ranch and a Defender would be nice vs using my current ATV. X3 is no use on the ranch so trying to see if a Defender would do both. X3 is pretty pricey for once a month usage, ha.
Did you need to change the clutching at all?
Need more lift like arms. Gonna drag thst front end off with those tires
Commented this morning on your IG, and the video comes out. Awesome video! I’ve been wanting one of these for us down in Texas.
That a sweet looking rig. Are you running factory shocks and springs? I want to install 32 inch tires on my defender Lonestar

X3 is definitely better for rough terrain and anything steep, but I wouldn’t be afraid to trail ride in a Defender
That trail looks awesome, I'm going to have to head out there one day 😎
It is a great trail and awesome camping at the end of the trail at Barrett Lake
