P Sylar Christ Almighty guys, cut 'er some slack. Women change when they're riding with the little ones around. It may take her a couple (few) years of riding with the kids before she gets back into the throttle. My wife did the same thing. Now that the kids are older she'll let it eat again.
That defender is a beast! I been eyeballing em for a while but it is nice to see they can hold their own in the rough stuff. There are not very many videos out yet where they are in these type of situations.
3 things I would like to point out: 1.) I know where my green bungy strap went to. 2.) Mrs. Ostacruiser still needs lessons on "pinning it"! 3.) We need to go riding!!!
John I bought an 850 XMR it has the shorter wheelbase love it! Something you should consider I have a walkaround video on my channel going over the features and specs check it out!
Cant argue with that. But ya if you are looking for a more economical option that still performs the same and even sometimes better than the 1000 XMR the 850 is great. I personally like it better than the 1000 because of the shorter wheelbase
The kids must have had a blast helping you guys "fetch firewood" Trees all around ,but we gotta ride miles of trails to get that perfect little Birch tree... lol Teach em young ! Great vid !
hey ostacruiser I love watching your video's and awesome atv's bud, hi from teulon manitoba my brother does the same awsome things u guys do with the atv's, keep up the awesome video's
Hey Osta, you should check out halo locker front diff. You get fully locked front diff...true 4wd. Seems to have very good reviews. It gets rid of the visco lock.
Ya they build a great product, I have always been very happy with my qe visco loks. i think the bit of slip keeps the front end togethet when you ride wfo as much as we do lol
Osta, any feedback on the seating situation in the defender ? We're about to pull the trigger on a sxs and at this point, it's down to the defender and a general. Keep in mind that long 8+ hour rides are the norm for us and that bench seat in the defender looks painful to me at this point. We need something that can (on occasion) earn it's keep do an X3 or gen1 maverick are not really an option.
+ROTAXD They are actually very comfortable. Keep in mind certain trim levels have different seats. I would go down to the local dealer and sit in them and see how they fit
The x3 just looks like all of the SXS's on the market had a gang bang and was blessed with the heart of rotax. Really though, try to spot all the similarities. Rzr rear suspension, wild cat low profile, exposed front springs like the yzr, etc.
that 6x6 is so awesome, i was looking on the can am website and i don't think the factory 6x6 is available in canada, so how did you manage to get one?
On the defender, did y'all put wheel spacers on the rear? I just bought an xtp model and I put my silverbacks on and the rear is about an inch narrower.
I know I've asked about what gears to use (depending on terrain) before on one of your videos but I'm not mechanically inclined... Owners manual for my quad says to use L for pulling things or when going under 7 mph. So my question is what about that marshy area/water in the video? It seems like you guys were going over 7 mph but would want the low end power...
If you are mudding always low gear, Really if there is some resistance (mud, snow, etc) or if the bike is towing something always low. High is for cruising and trail riding smooth trails going fast.
Swamp donkey is correct, always use Low when your in mud, clay, skeg ect if your skimming over water or just in water it's fine to use High. When ever your towing use low and 4x4 just to pressure off the bike.
What did you do to this what besides the tires/ rims did you add to it (Defender)? Skids? Lift? Im trying to see what it can do stock before i go get myself stuck in debt with upgrades
+InAllSeriousness88 We did absolutely zero to it besides bolting on the stock 30" Silverbacks from my Xmr Renegade. What a great machine. Surprised the heck out of us
Hey Ostacruiser I’m thinking of trading in my can am outlander max xt 1000 for a side by side. I want to be able to take my daughter and wife with me when I go to the farm in Pennsylvania. Which model should I get. The defender max xt or a commander. Thank for any help
Brian Piscitelli I agree with Osta on the Defender being a better machine. But if your dealer will play ball, I'd test ride both. Some folks seem to really like the upright seating on the commanders.
yes / no see can am sponsers these people they give them the four wheelers and they make ostacrusier uses them and makes videos on them so then a lot of people see their stuff and whant to buy it if you understand say yes if not say no
That "ugh" when she stuck the Mavrick, funny.
Hahaha not pleased
Haha yeah that annoyed ugh
Why tf was she going so slow, was she scared😂😂😂
P Sylar Christ Almighty guys, cut 'er some slack. Women change when they're riding with the little ones around. It may take her a couple (few) years of riding with the kids before she gets back into the throttle. My wife did the same thing. Now that the kids are older she'll let it eat again.
That "ugh" is the answer to a question. That question is "What it's like to be married?"
That defender doing work... im sold.
AT all costs we have to get the firewood!! Beauty... Luv it.
just bought a defender hd8 yesterday, hopefully ill received today in a couple of hours, can`t wait!
Right on dude! Congrats!
I bought the Defender last year "awesome machine"......hard to stick them !
That defender is a beast! I been eyeballing em for a while but it is nice to see they can hold their own in the rough stuff. There are not very many videos out yet where they are in these type of situations.
bet the kids had a blast in the Defender, nice vid, thanx for sharing.
Man they didn't want the ride to end!
Sweet video the defender looks awsome for a work/play rig
That's so cool with the kids in the defender.
I am liking that Defender more and more
the defender is a beast
ostracruiser you have encouraged me to get one of these badass machines! thanks for all the awesome vids!
Can't wait to see you rock the X3!!!! woot!
3 things I would like to point out:
1.) I know where my green bungy strap went to.
2.) Mrs. Ostacruiser still needs lessons on "pinning it"!
3.) We need to go riding!!!
all true!
+ostacruiser hey thinking about buying a xmr 1000 what's your opinion is it worth all the money? Planning to buy new
John I bought an 850 XMR it has the shorter wheelbase love it! Something you should consider I have a walkaround video on my channel going over the features and specs check it out!
+Canadian Swamp Donkeys I like xmr's because they just have a shit load of torque. And you have try really hard to get it stuck haha. Nice video
Cant argue with that. But ya if you are looking for a more economical option that still performs the same and even sometimes better than the 1000 XMR the 850 is great. I personally like it better than the 1000 because of the shorter wheelbase
The defender makes it look easy.
finally some side by side action!
That was entertaining! 👍
enjoyed the video love my defender
The kids must have had a blast helping you guys "fetch firewood"
Trees all around ,but we gotta ride miles of trails to get that perfect little Birch tree... lol Teach em young ! Great vid !
They had a total blast! thanks for watching
that defender is impressive! you live in God's country.
about 100k of toys that's my kind of life. We just got the cab edition of the defender. Great utv
7:50 you guys need to sharpen that chain
Another awesome video osta!!
Another great video!!
hey ostacruiser I love watching your video's and awesome atv's bud, hi from teulon manitoba my brother does the same awsome things u guys do with the atv's, keep up the awesome video's
+Jamie Marcyniuk Cool bud! Thanks for watching
+ostacruiser your welcome bud and I will keep watching ur awsome video's so keep em
I volunteer as tribute to drive the Maverick when needed
all vechile from can-am it's my favorite
What that on top of the shirt at 7:32, weird looking flashlight?
Hey Osta, you should check out halo locker front diff. You get fully locked front diff...true 4wd. Seems to have very good reviews. It gets rid of the visco lock.
Ya they build a great product, I have always been very happy with my qe visco loks. i think the bit of slip keeps the front end togethet when you ride wfo as much as we do lol
Yeah...not much technical trails for you guys!!! Lol!!
+Mudman 68 that's where they shine in the technical stuff
Esse canal é top.....muito legal esses vídeos. ....Parabéns amigos.
great video @ostacruiser.shame about the renegade but it was just a bump in the road
the guy at the end sounds like badger from breaking bad
I like your Toys!
does the defender have a longer wheel base than the commander, and if you do a project defender, sneak an extra axel on it.6x6 defender tada
Man the defender did really well just with them backs, awesome! I saw catvos makes a big lift for them now ostacruiser. *hint* *hint*
Ostacrusier you should do a Defender build eventually.
Osta, any feedback on the seating situation in the defender ? We're about to pull the trigger on a sxs and at this point, it's down to the defender and a general. ROTAXD lo
Maverick x3 mud machine. Nuff' said.
The x3 just looks like all of the SXS's on the market had a gang bang and was blessed with the heart of rotax. Really though, try to spot all the similarities. Rzr rear suspension, wild cat low profile, exposed front springs like the yzr, etc.
+Pine Apple that's a good combo because people like them of all worlds
+Pine Apple yea it looks good...looks like can am Polaris Yamaha and artic cat all had a hate sex orgy the x 3 was the outcome
Like how you towed the renegade back with the defender
Eso es vivir la máxima adrenalina de aventura.
that 6x6 is so awesome, i was looking on the can am website and i don't think the factory 6x6 is available in canada, so how did you manage to get one?
They are available in Canada absolutely
Canadian Swamp Donkeys
really? i wonder why you can't build one on the can am website for canada then?
+mrdann42 I was able to build one on the Canadian site
On the defender, did y'all put wheel spacers on the rear? I just bought an xtp model and I put my silverbacks on and the rear is about an inch narrower.
Ok, so here's a question for ya; if you could only have one of those machines which one would it be?
The firewood run?!? Lot of work for a couple sticks
Yup lol
Im thinking about picking up a can am defender hd10 xtp.
I know I've asked about what gears to use (depending on terrain) before on one of your videos but I'm not mechanically inclined... The defender have a snorkel on it going through that last piece of water ?
Haha, like $100k of machinery to get like 2 days worth of firewood! 😂 😂 😂 nice!
+Jeff McDonald lol
Jeff McDonald 2 days ? Hell, more like 2 hours worth of wood.
Surprised the heck out of us
ostacruiser just unreal. I can't believe it!
how do you like your mt2's, are they better than the original silverbacks?
Defender is unstoppable haha!
Love the commentary osta lmao
Is the defenders power and clutching stock?just got one last week and wondered how it did stock
Yes all bone stock
Nice video but wow talk about a big production for 12 sticks of wood.
Haha yes we know 😅😅
Any problems with the mav now that the portals are gone?
Hey ostacuiser do you recommend the X mr outlander or renegade for mud trails?
Zachary Brady
the outlander provides more carrying space like racks and more mud protection than the renegade but both supply the same amount of power
surprised how much better those tires make the defender go, stock tires would be shit in there i need some for my commander
do you put the breather kit on yourself or does it come like that?
are you still running rockcrusher portals on the maverick?
Was that Marge Simpson talking at the end there?
those are nice I'm looking to ride with some people out here in dallas. mines is just collection dust in the d garage
Osta you need a lift on that 6x6, you get high centred a little too often
Shit that would be cool, but does anyone make one
Other then tires is the defender stock?
Yes bone stock
The extents you have to go to find a tree big enough for firewood in Saskatchewan eh?
Do the 30 inch tires fit on the defender stock
are you going to get the can am maverick x3 when it comes out?
nice but the girls driving was epic as well all the other people are epic at it
how well does the motors on those can ams hold up
are you going to do a defender build
Did the tires rub on the Defender once you were out riding?
And how fast do you go in low gear?
defenders da beast
Whats your opinion on the Defender compared to the Ranger XP
Defender rides better, and more reliable
I want the maverick, but I need the defender front seat! how is the defender for ride?
Best riding sxs I have ever driven
My little Honda Pioneer 500 could never follow your machines. Do you own all of them?
silverback802 I don't think the defender is his.
how do u seal up the belt housings? been having problems with my 2016 maverick max xds
I never used anything extra. just make sure your snorkels and cvt gasket are good
+ostacruiser ok thank you!!!
классно съездили за дровами:)
how do u get all ur money to buy all these machines
Holly fak the toys are out of control!!!
Nice toys
ostacruiser are you going to get the new maveric soon
Make more videos like this :)

Hey Ostacruiser I’m thinking of trading in my can am outlander max xt 1000 for a side by side. I want to be able to take my daughter and wife with me when I go to the farm in Pennsylvania. Which model should I get. The defender max xt or a commander. Thank for any help
+Brian Piscitelli Defender is a much better machine. You are not sitting right on the motor
ostacruiser thank you very much
Brian Piscitelli I agree with Osta on the Defender being a better machine. But if your dealer will play ball, I'd test ride both. Some folks seem to really like the upright seating on the commanders.
What type camera are you used ?
How much is sitting there in the beginning? Bout 100k? Lol wicked machines
Just bought a 2020 defender xt hd8 and it's a bad sob
Awesome!
Hi osta . when you have Maverick X3?
Can ams are great machines and very capable but given the conditions you ride in wouldn't an argo be better?
silverback802 you do realize that an argo would literally take all day to cover the distance they rode in a couple of hours, don't you ?
3:53 the sigh of disappointment from Ostacrusier
Who is talking at the end
I would love to ride with you guys
how do you like the Silverback MT2s?
Just wondering? Do you own all of those awesome machines?
yes / no see can am sponsers these people they give them the four wheelers and they make ostacrusier uses them and makes videos on them so then a lot of people see their stuff and whant to buy it if you understand say yes if not say no
Yes because he owns a can am shop in Canada
also awessome youtube channel
Ostacruiser gear ?
What size tire are on the defender
