For me, on my 4k 42" screen it's clear which one is which. The pc one is a lot sharper and clearer, especially in assassin's creed it was super noticeable, but I can imagine it's quite hard to tell on smaller screens. The price to performance is still really solid for the PS5 because it still looks pretty decent.
I have owned both Nvidia and Radeon GPU's. My last Nvidia GPU was a a GTX 1070 SC2 because Nvidia graphics suck. This is an RTX (Nvidia) 3090 GPU so the graphics suck already. Compared to a PS5 which has AMD Graphics and the PS5 still looks this bad???? Only channel that points out how bad Nvidia graphics are is OC3D and he has done it for years. So comparing sheit to sheit and the PS5 still loses?
not only is it sharper and clearer but there is tons of texture detail on pc thats not there on console and the lod is much lower on console as well as the particle systems and post processing effects. i think even the geometry may be simpler too but good devs do an amazing job negating that pitfall.

I upgraded to 48" now, so the PS5 actually looks laughable compared to the pc version. The market of course is bad for gpus and the PS5 destroys PCs with value for money at the moment and still looks decent and a lot better than the ps4. When they announced the spec of the Series X and PS5 I watched a Nvidia presentation where Jensen explained what the company was doing next. A person in the audience asked Jensen about tech channels saying the new console was to be as powerful as the 2080. Jensen literally laughed and replied, No, the new console will not even be as powerful as the 2080 Max Q. That is the Nvidia mobile version of the 2080 for laptops. Richard from Digital Foundry is known for exaggerating, "Its like a high end PC" (One X launch.) Later Alex from Digital Foundry does a video comparing games to PC. He shows where the consoles use lower than PC low textures in areas, while stating he didn't know that was possible. Steve from Gamers Nexus ran tests on this gen of console and said, "Some of you will not like what I have to say". Went on the explain that in most games the consoles perform about on par with a GTX 1060 and in the best cases, up to a GTX 1070. Then stated, you may not like it but the numbers don't lie. I run AMD so I am not a hater. But AMD had trouble competing with the RTX 2080 even with AMD's discrete lineup. If AMD has trouble getting a high powered discrete GPU to match the 2080 there is NO way they made a low powered APU that could.
If youre able to work professionally with high end pc hardware...as a developer for example then the price seems to match the abilities. But to be fair hardware right now is overpriced anyway..

What will be noticeable to a PC gamer though is the improved framerate, if they have the hardware to run it well. Im pretty sure most recent cards (GTX 1070 series to any card incurrent lineup) can get these graphics at 1080 to 1440p.. none needs to be playing in 4k and Ray tracing is not a deal breaker, just remove Ray tracing and it would look exactly the same.

Some of these games were originally made for the PS4 which are being played in the PS5. Like Cyberpunk for example. So the graphics are not gonna look as good compared to a PC to begin with. The PS5 and the new Xbox are indeed very impressive, that's for sure. Each console generation from the Nes and Master System, have usually made great leaps. I remember the jump from Atari in the late 70s, to the NES in 85. I know there were other machines, but the NES made a huge impact and for me, a great leap in visuals and gameplay. From that moment on, each new console made another leap. I am a PC gamer, but I love consoles as well. But, if you can afford a good PC, that you can future proof, the PC will begin to pull away, by a good margin eventually and the console has to get through it's basic console cycle, to reach those new heights. Sure, graphics aren't everything, no doubt, but a futureproofed PC, goes much further as tech gets better. I didn't say all this as a part of PC/Console wars, I think they are all great, I am just an old guy that felt like throwing my 2 cents in haha. Great video BTW!

There are no two opinions on the issue. The fact is that computer games are really much better made, but the price between a computer and a consola is enormous.
Same game bud. It is a enormous difference in price. But this also shows you 4k on pc is real and not like on console to be upscaled by whichever way. He's also lying about his specs of the computer. With those parts he outta get way more fps, there's no ray tracing running in either version. so this makes it a fairer comparison. fact is most computer games are being developed for all platforms now, which kinda takes away the innovation that comes with each generation of raw power these devices can perform in. Which flat out means there not as good as they used to be, but now consoles want more sales so they are releasing their once exclusive titles and are now selling them on steam lol Seems like everyone should save time and just switch to pc.
Glad consoles are finally catching up. The ps4/xbox one was about the starting point. These ryzen APU chiplets are quite impressive. I'd love to see a micro ITX board for x86 systems based on PS5 hard ware.
Consoles are not “catching up” there will always be a huge difference in performance between high end pc hardware and consoles, and a noticeable performance difference mid range hardware and consoles
This video should of shown some framerates. That would have put it more into perspective. However, no denying that consoles value for money is undeniable, If you could actually get one.....
The problem about consoles is the game's prices. The console byself is cheaper, but the games are expensive compared to PC. It's like buying a cheaper car that consomes more fuel. You lose money in the long term.
@@Evandrocjmt that’s becoming less and less of a valid argument. at most you save $5 on launch title on launch day. Sure PC runs sales in a variety of different places more often, but the consoles still have large sales too just less frequent. If you time it right you can’t beat the value of a $500 console.
People are arguing and seem confused in the comments. I'm new to PC gaming so try to bear with me as I explain what I've learned and please correct me if I'm wrong. You choose your value for the graphical scale of games with PC. You could game at 1080p at high frames medium to high settings on graphically intense games for fairly cheap if you want, or you could spend more and play at higher settings like at 4k or even at 8k 25-60 fps if you want. It honestly depends on you and your preference, it's your choice. Normal priced PS5's might seem cheaper and a better value than high end PC's at first, but you have to calculate how much you will spend as you own the console. $60 a year for about 7-8 years adds up over time which will cost you an extra $420+. New PS5 games will cost $60 each which as you know adds up over time. PS5 games have sales, but not to the same degree as PC games. The games on steam seem to always go on sale every time I recheck the prices so you save money more often that way. In my case though I bought GTA 5 for not even $15 from the Rockstar store instead of steam, but you get the point. Mods were my biggest reason for wanting to get into PC gaming, GTA 5 and RDR2 with ultra realistic graphics is so f*cking beautiful you can't even fathom how glorious it looks in person. That's something you can get for free sometimes anyway by trusted sources if you know what you are doing, but it also doesn't take long to learn. If you have a 4k monitor or TV seriously go look them up ruclips.net/video/4FyDOI2IGBo/видео.html&ab_channel=Gam34Lif3. PS5 has it to where you can play some of the classic PlayStation titles which is nice, but PC has emulation for pretty much every platform. PS1,PS2,PS3,XBOX, XBOX 360,Dreamcast,Older Nintendo systems, you can even play BOTW on the PC , if you wanted to experience it in higher frames. Seriously, replaying older games from different platforms on 1 system is EXTREMELY nice, and of course these are free to download and play(from trusted sources). I almost 4 got to say that you can use pretty much any controller you desire for gaming. I use an Xbox One controller for Halo and my DS4 for other games. Options are really nice. LONG STRORY SHORT- PC you can do more in terms of gaming and definitely save money in the long run, also just do more in general, its still a computer. PS5 is much cheaper at first considering how much power its packing, but you're spending possibly more money in the long run, and can only play PS titles obviously.

I actually own some games on both PC and PS5, and the fact that the PS5 runs them this well without having to ever mess with settings or update drivers etc. is very pleasing. My Sony TV does not have HDMI 2.1 and it doesn't matter to me. The games look fantastic and run very well! Let's stop with the PS charges for online etc. PS Plus cost about $40 a year; just find the sales guys. That's the cost of 1 AAA game on sale. The selection of games included for PS5 owners is easily well over $100 worth even if the games sold for $10 each. From my point of view the pc can display higher detailed visuals. For example: arm hair, gravel, and smoke. Sure colorful lights can reflect off of streets and sidewalks but not to the point where the streets look shiny. Thats the problem with the ps5. If there is a source of light that is coming from the sun, it just looks shiny. Almost as if everything was plastic. Not to say the ps5 isn't an impressive console that can outperforms some pcs.

Comparing a PS5 to a PC doesn’t quite make sense. I spent 50K on my PS5, while achieving similar graphics on a PC would cost around 1.5 lakhs. The PS5 will surely have the edge in ratio when it comes to gaming alone. Aside from gaming, listening to music, streaming movies, watching live TV, and even internet browsing, which the PS can do, PC let's you do editing of pictures and videos, drawing, rendering, coding, creation of documents (and a lot of office-related stuff like excel, ppt, etc.), video calls, etc. These are just some of what a PC can do and it's meant to do a lot of things. @@djbrokoly3909 yeah that's true but still better than the majority of pc owners and on steam the most popular graphics card on there is a 1060 so vs the average pc the Ps5 is a killer deal and for the money of a ps5 you just cannot get the performance on a pc for the same money.
1500$ vs 500$ + ps plus subscribtions + more expensive games + u still will need to buy a low-end pc or laptop for work or study. In the end of the generation u'll spend more on the console, than if u bought a pc. They lure you into their system and milk you dry.
@Tomasz Kitliński well, ps5 is just for gaming, a pc has more utilities than just for gaming, its obvious (but of course the grapchics cards are too expensive now)
@Tomasz Kitliński I can, because i have a PC where i can earn money by creating websites, developing software, editing videos, etc... and not just a cool toy where i can only play video games :)
As a result of extreme prices of graphics cards because of crypto mining, this is the first time consoles, although still not as good as PC graphics, seem like a good idea.
But the pc can do many things. For example, you need a computer to be a hacker. ps5 can only play games So whether to buy a ps5 or a pc is completely based on everyone’s needs
Why are you comparing a 1800+$ PC to a 500$ Playstation. Of course the PC would outperform it. It would be better if you compared it with a PC in the same price range as the PS5. I'm sure the power of optimization will make the best out of the PS5.
I've been a PC gamer for a long time, but this time i'll probably switch to PS5, and this is why: 1 - PS5 is much cheaper, costs around 700€ and a for that price you can't even buy a good graphics card for PC. And if you want to build a PC with the similar specs as PS5, it would cost well over 3000€ + 1000€ for a good monitor to compliment the PC, + 100-200€ (mouse, keyboard, headphones etc.) So for example it could be over 4000€ in total. With PS5 you only have to buy the console and a screen. 2 - PS5 has a power rating of 350W but uses around 200w. A high-end PC needs at least 750-1000W. So it's cheaper electricity usage with PS5. 3 - PS5 is just buy, plug & play. But the PC is; spend time looking for parts, searching what is good and worth buying, checking if the components fit together.. The shop won't have the component you're looking for so you need to find another shop or pick another component, compare the expenses etc. Then order, wait, assemble, search tutorials, struggle with fitting the components in tight spaces and cable management.. Then install operating system and drivers, have some issues in the meantime because it's never 100% smooth, go to BIOS, update and change settings, try to do overclocking maybe.. Or pay someone more money to do all of that for you.. Then set up the internet, again download bunch of software, programs, drivers, update operating system, install antivirus, set up firewall, install Java, Adobe, turn off Cortana, install fifty different Microsoft .NET Redispriotidutabiles C++#555 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 etc.. Do bunch of micro-organizing with folders and files, hard drive partition is not recognized so need to restart computer and go to BIOS again.. Install 50 different launchers like Steam, Ubisoft, Origin, Epic etc.. Change installation and download folders.. Install Winrar or 7zip, install Chrome or Firefox, login into 700000 different accounts for ALL THESE THINGS, you forgot some passwords so reset passwords, click OK on all the prompts that new internet browsers show up.. Then set up things like RAM allocation, CPU core settings, video settings, graphic settings, sound settings, update, update, update, download, install, update, update.. 4 - PS5 games are on discounts every week and cheaper, and they often give out free games.. And they are good quality AAA games.. Not those 2D platformers, mobile strategies, card games, point & click games etc.. 5 - The graphics and performance on PS5 is always satisfying, it rarely leaves you wanting more. The fps is always perfect and smooth, it's never an issue. Everything is perfectly optimized and balanced, as it should be. It's not worth the extra 15-20% better graphics on PC. And it's usually never smooth, even with the best PC there are always some fps drops or issues you need to solve. 6 - There are very few PC exclusive games, and those are usually not that great. But there are many console-exclusive games which are great. 7 - If your PS5 breaks, you can buy a new one and it would cost less than fixing a PC. 8 - No viruses on PS5. 9 - No accidental deletion of anything on PS5. On PC one small problem can ruin all the files you have. 10 - No problem with badly ported games, or controller layouts. I would add more but that's enough for now, honestly i don't know why i haven't switched to consoles earlier. P.S - Love the music in the video!
@@okami9039 Playstation games always had discounts in their life, Epic games is a launcher that almost everyone avoids and going to Steam even if it gives out free indie games it's not gonna kill Steam.
Keep in mind everyone, the price difference between the 2 is amazing. You could buy a PS5 console for your entire family and still have money left over compared to getting one of these rigs. PS5 is the way to go.
If they do similar to ps4 and release a pro version you might as well get a PC. That ps5 is similar to a rtx 2070 super and that card won’t handle these upcoming games at ultra 4K.
@@davidberg4122 Valid point. But a prebuilt PC with a 2070 super still ranges around the $1000 mark. Console is still a huge sale abundance to consumers. However, with the versatility of a PC, it's still a tough choice to some people. For me, I like to do console gaming because of the simple factors. On a PC not only was the price absurd for what I was looking for, but the maintenance and dedication into knowledge about what to upgrade, fix, etc. is to much for me and probably many others. Needless to say, it all depends on what you want, or if you have the money to do either.
Except you can't. PS5 doesn't only cost 400$, it has a lot of hidden costs. Online play, special Sony PULSE 3D headset for the special audio, extra controller's cost, more expensive games, 200$ for storage extention SSD...on the long run it's cost is about the same as a gaming PC, or higher. And it's upgrade will also cost 400$ as the whole console needs to be swapped out, not just one part.
@@deductivevariance3497 Lmao what r u even talking about? Nobody has to buy the headset, extra ssd ect.. It’s like saying if you play on pc you need a mouse for $100 and a keyboard for $200.

Should have
The problem about consoles is the game's prices.

Im not gonna deny it, im pretty impressed with what this gens xbox and ps5 can do. For the original retail price, its alot of machine. Now if only they made all the games work with keyboard and mouse.

I'm very impressed with my PS5 performance for $500. I am a native PC gamer at heart with a very good gaming PC. I have put in a lot more than $500 on this PC of mine, and I really play PC at 1440p.
Also, remember that PS5 owners don't really need a gaming mouse, keyboard, and gaming monitor as most people now a days already have a 4K TV in their living rooms.
Remember, this is coming from a PC gamer first enjoying the best of both worlds right now.

From my point of view the pc can display higher detailed visuals. For example: arm hair, gravel, and smoke. Sure colorful lights can reflect off of streets and sidewalks but not to the point where the streets look shiny.

Comparing a PS5 to a PC doesn’t quite make sense. I spent 50K on my PS5, while achieving similar graphics on a PC would cost around 1.5 lakhs. PCs are built for multitasking and intensive tasks like 3D work and rendering, which require more powerful GPUs. The PS5, on the other hand, is designed specifically for gaming. It’s like comparing a Bugatti to a fighter jet-they serve different purposes. I was happy with the PS4, and I’m just as content with the PS5. I don’t mind the lower FPS compared to a PC and I don’t want to spend that much, so it’s all good.
Ps5 is out classed but considering the pc build would cause 3000+ I’d say the 500$ ps5 dose a good job
The PC is not a console, it is a work tool that we can turn into an entertainment center. It is used for an infinity of things, including playing video games. It does a lot more than a console, and when it pretends to be one, it does it better than the best. So, I don't see it more expensive, I see it better in every way and with a price to match.

Why are you comparing a 1800+$ PC to a 500$ Playstation. Of course the PC would outperform it. It would be better if you compared it with a PC in the same price range as the PS5. I'm sure the power of optimization will make the best out of the PS5.
I've been a PC gamer for a long time, but this time i'll probably switch to PS5, and this is why:
1 - PS5 is much cheaper, costs around 700€ and a for that price you can't even buy a good graphics card for PC.
Since when were PS games have discounts? Did you ever heard of epic games in PC?
@@okami9039 Playstation games always had discounts in their life, Epic games is a launcher that almost everyone avoids and going to Steam even if it gives out free indie games it's not gonna kill Steam.
$499usd Console vs $1,499usd GPU
@The Rattler Channel Yes
Ay and don’t forget the monitor with 240+ Hz. The quality you are getting for $500 is unmatched. Doesn’t matter if PS5 or XBOX Series X
Gotta say it man, what we are getting on ps5 for that price! OOf Respect consoles even if you hate them
remember this is only the first gen GPUs of the new console cycle so next gen the gap will get larger and larger
Yeah they recovered money when you buy games but in pc you can easily download crack games for free
after playing on PC after being on console my whole life, the differnce is night and day when you have it playing infront of you on both. consoles look so blurry and have terrible frame rate
Do the same comparison at Fps side please
@thementez45 extra spoiler......pc gonna destroy ps5 in the max hz
@Giant Tiger bro, dont just spoil us like that 😢
Только вот все забыли про фпс, сонибои в 30 и пк бояре в 100+, а так да разница минимальна ага
a console can never beat pc with High specs, comparing a $500 and a $3000 pc or more.
Ps5 performance can be achieved with a $750 pc. And yes, it's very possible to get a GPU for msrp.
On the side note: the footage from the PS5 seems quite a bit more fluent. Sadly there is no info on fps.
It's 60 fps solid
i think 3090 looks more fluent 😂
Ahh, so good to see compressed vid on YT, comparing details. The ONLY way to see the real differences is via the same TV, with different HDMI-outputs. It's good to have next-gen consoles, but sorry to say that the current top-tier GPUs are really on a next level. These yt vids are only good for fooling yourself.
comparing the gpus in consoles to pc hardware is like comparing a laptop 3080 to a desktop 3080. lol
This is a comparison between a $500 console which comes with the equivalent of a mouse and keyboard, versus a PC what is about $2,000. The difference is very small for the price difference. I would say 10-15% better on PC compared to PS5. I am sure PS6 will be on par with 4090.
