Strensham, Worcestershire - the augmented ring of eight bells

The church of St John the Baptist is vested with the Churches Conservation Trust. The ring of six has been re-hung and augmented to eight by adding two treble bells ex-Kettering, Northamptonshire. The work was undertaken by voluntary effort to keep the costs to the absolute minimum. To aid the project the Keltek Trust donated one of the trebles.

judging from old and new recordings, the Rudhall bells sound a lot better now!! these are a very fine eight indeed. i notice that the frame is set diagonally into the tower? very interesting
