  • On this episode I #travel to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. We'll learn about President Reagan, from his boyhood, to his military service, his career as an actor, and as politician; from his California Governorship, to the White House as the 40th President of the United States. We'll tour through #AirForceOne, see a portion of the Berlin Wall, the Oval Office, and a whole lot more.
    So sit back and relax and take a journey with me to Simi Valley, CA, just North of Los Angeles, to the largest and most visited Presidential Library.

    This was a very good video of President Reagan's library...it needs to be added to his site. It would add so much to his site, and make people want to visit.

    Loved RR. I grew up on Bitburg AFB during the Cold War and remember the day he visited the base. The last president with real class. RIP sir the world could use more of such as yourself.

    Very nicely done... Hopefully, we can all learn from people like Mr. Reagan to have a more positive and gracious attitude towards all people even if when there might be differences of opinions....

    Ronald Regan died on 5 June 2004 when i half past twelve in grade 6 elementary school. My grandfather says Reagan its a great 40th US President.

      IMHO, your grandfather was correct. I remember that time as being good. It was also when I was serving in the Air Force. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

    I have a suggestion for a statue of President Reagan & Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher sitting together talking. There is a statue of President Roosevelt and prime minister Winston Churchill setting on a park bench.

    I have been there, it is a beautiful facility. I believe you should have stood quietly at the gravesite and shown some respect

    • @TheAmericanLandscape
      @TheAmericanLandscape  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. As you can see in the video we were a good distance from the grave site when speaking. All closeup were done with all due respect and in silence. Unfortunately we saw many people who were not as respectful as we were.

    I went to this place a few days ago. Walking through the Oval Office, Air Force One, and Marine One was cool, but otherwise the museum was mostly writing and pictures on the wall. Not much reason to go to a museum when it's the same information that you can find on the internet.

    It’s very misleading calling it a campus. It’s his Presidential Library.

    • @TheAmericanLandscape
      @TheAmericanLandscape  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. I am not sure who said campus, but in the strictest sense, it has multiple buildings and would be a campus in the modern us of the term. I hope you enjoyed the presentation.

    • @rckstein1057
      @rckstein1057 10 месяцев назад

      @@TheAmericanLandscapethe term "campus" is used at about the 27:36 mark in the presentation.
