I learned this lesson the hard way....had plastic injected heims on my RZR radius rods and one broke....ended up twisting my trailing arm and busted off the bottom eyelet of my Podium Fox shock...cost me $400.00 to get it fixed and a tow from my nephew.....the other 5 heims were on the brink of failure as well....
Hey, question. I fitted a rod end on my wishbone but how tight do i put the nut on? I tightened the nut firmly, it worked fine while driving. Then i thighend it more and now everything "squeeks"... is there a certain torque needed?
They are self lubricating joints. If they are rattling or squeaking bad the liner has likely worn out. That being said a squirt of liquid silicone seems to be fine to keep the squeaks down temporarily.
Right hand thread and left hand thread allow the component they are used on to be adjusted in length without having to remove the component, be it some type of radius rod or tie rod.

No sound
Y are some right hand and left hand my traction bar has some that the joint doesn't move? Is this correct
If they are tight and not loose, as long as you can move it with the bar installed, that is fine. They can be made extremely tight..
Pure Performance thanks
