- We received an offer to help Sean, a loyal dog who has been sitting on the curb for days, he doesn't want to go anywhere but just sits there in the cold.
For months we tried to understand him and make him happier and forget what he went through.
And those efforts eventually warmed his heart.
Sean is happy again and he begins a beautiful new chapter in his life.

Oh, Melissa, I really feel your pain. It's so hard to make this sort of decision. But you have made the right one. None of us likes to admit defeat like this, but don't see it as defeat altogether. This is a win for everyone. Yes, you'll miss him but the kids will be safer, you won't have to worry about him anymore and the lady who has him now has a fantastic little horse who will thrive with one to one training. The story made me cry to see the dog so hurt and broken. I don't know how anybody could abandon such a sweet Creature, if anything find him a new home, but don't just throw him away like garbage! To see a dog so closed up is something I've never seen! However the willingness to open that heart again fills my heart with gratitude, thank you for not giving up on this little lost soul. 🙏🏻❤

I get sad because I want one of these dogs that need me as much as I need them, but due to the nature of my job I spend long stretches away from home and couldn't bare the though of neglecting one of these beautiful animals anymore than they've already been. One day I will make a home for a dog in need.
HE'S looking for his master!!! He's waiting & hoping he will return to collect him. He will stay put until that happens. That's how loyal our animal friends are towards us, we can yell at them, scream at them, get completely brassed off at them but they will always remain loyal regardless.
Unless something better comes along but they will always remain loyal and watching and hoping, todays the day!!! These are GOD's creatures and we have been told to take good care of them for GOD is watching also.

Looking at him in a human sense it is very heart breaking caged and sitting there wondering where his master is for him to sit in the snow that long.
I know what it feels like to be abandoned, you lose hope and become reclusive not trusting females cuz you been hurt so much. I could just feel what was in this dogs heart.😢

Christ I had both legs amputated and almost lost several fingers but did lose my eyesight in one eye at -20F!!!! Never leave anyone or anything out in that weather ever!!!
