Nicholas D pray has done great things with this gen v platform. If I didn’t already have a great relationship with my current tuner Pat G I would have gone to Pray.
Ryan Tidwell I would love to run a similar modded mustang. I know stangmode ran 10.9s with a lot of weight reduction on just intake headers and e85, but him with the stall and transbrake set up would probably be a decent race with mine.
Stangmode is timing low 11 high ten hero run perfect weather and da. A full bolt on and e85 ss and stingray from pray can run mid 10 at 126-128 low 10 with a stall converter. Heads and cam now your I the 9’s n/a nomustang can do that mid for mod. They need turbos or whipple.
Hey I got a couple of questions if u dont mind: Would this manifold fit with a 103 mm throttle body, and would that combo fit with my K&N black hawk cold air intake? (I ask that last question since most people pair it with a roto fab, but I personally like the blackhawk intake) How does the car run a few months later? I'm not a track enthusiast I'm more of a street racer / daily driver with my 2018 2SS. And well yea does the car still run good with this msd manifold installed? Does this manifold require a tune? (Its not an issue if it does I'm just curious)
Lol YouWontFindMe yes the MSD is perfect for the 103mm Tb as the opening on the MSD is actually 103mm. It will work with your knn but might require a different coupler to get it to work with the bigger Tb. And of course a tune will be required if going to a 103mm Tb and MSD intake.
Will C depends, the 19 has a 10 speed auto so the car lives above 5k rpm pretty much the whole time in the run. The ported MSD and ported Tb will definitely pick up power especially in the top rpm. A cam will help it more along with heads, but alone it will still benefit
Well not really just hell with it. The SS was a great car and I accomplished the goals i had with it so it was time to step up and go faster on the sbe with a zl1. The ZL1 is much better and equiped to handle more power fro the factory.
How long did it take to remove and install the msd? I have a 2016 camaro 2SS and thinking of getting this same msd.... do you really need a tune for it or can you run it without a tune?
Hey bro the 3 bolts on the bottom of the msd that you covered are they connected to the 3 on top did you even have to mess with the 3 on top didn't look like it
@@Neptonic101 E85 is almost 110 octane if im not mistaken. Its pretty much same if not slightly better than race fuel. only thing better i can do is get racing e85 vs pump e85
I do remote tuning. I have hptuners and also the AEM OBD2 wideband gauge that lets me log wideband data for Pat G my tuner to use for adjusting the tune.
Hello Jorge, I got copes questions, how you comunicate with pray performance to get this MSD and porter at the sametime? Do you comunicated thru Facebook with them? Last question how much cost this? if you can said it. Thank you man
Thanks, and im not sure to be honest. If i had to guess i would say around 460-470hp. The biggest difference will be the difference in power from 5500rpm and up to the shift rpm of 6500
You will need to get it tuned for the new manifold. You might be able to get away with driving it without a tune but i wouldnt go wot unitl you tune it.
To get the best gains you need a tune which will void warranty, and i would only recommend the msd intake if you already have the headers and other bolt ons along with thinking of doing a cam in the near future which will all void your warranty.
SpeedLife301 pray definitely knows his stuff. Pat G is pretty well known around the country as well. I’ve ran pray tuned cars before similar mods and they are good runs I end up pulling by a car at end of the pulls. Sometimes depending on the hit, it will be heads up.

It’s fairly easy to remove and replace. A couple hours tops and I would say yes you would want a tune bc the airflow would be different. You might be able to get away with driving it a couple hours to a tuner or for a day or two while you dial in the tune, but I wouldn’t run it without a tune long term
Brett is the man pray performance all the way! He just re-did my tune and picked up 3mph over the previous dyno tune I got.

I’ve been excited to see this upload since we spoke
2 years later i had to come back and check some things out🤣
The MSD intake definitely helped up top!!!!!
Jorge's Vlog I bet
How much gains in hp and torque you recon?
Looks so nice ! I want this intake ..so jealous lol cant wait for the track ! Good luck bud
Thanks! and Me neither! Im excited to see what it will run.
The car should be able to run low 11s now for sure, and maybe in some cooler weather and better DA get me into the 10s!!!
What’s the best DA? Higher number or the lower the number?
@@jordangittins7171 the lower the DA the better
I didn't know the covers still fit with the MSD! Looks nice.
They don’t fit perfect, but they will lock in place and look decent!
That thing is rolling bro💪🏽💪🏽
I think that is worth it on a 2019 with just a tune and a roto fab
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was laughing when you said “yesssssirrrr”
Can't wait to do everything to my car that you've done to your car!!
Hope my videos are helpful!
really good video ive been following your build lookn forward to that msd on my car
Thank you! and your going to love it. If you can get it ported by Pray.
Camera and mount set up?
You should race Stang mode, he has a engine stall, but if you installed one too then you should be in the 10's

🤣🤣🤣 when you finger pop and throw yourself back against the seat🤣🤣
Just installed my manifold how exactly did you get the covers to go on ? Need help asap
Cheaper way is to use a C8 intake but it's not just plug n play but worth the savings.
That should definitely get you faster at the track! Good video bro!
Oh yes, My guess is it will add another 2-3mph to my trap speed and drop .2-.3 tenths off my time.
@@JLSpeed nice
Good to see the Maro back on the channel! Lol Cam coming soon?
i wish!!

another camaro guy told me u have to be cam'd for this msd and ported tb to properly get gains?

You can email them at prayperformance@gmail.com and it’s about 1500 for Ported MSD his prices change so email him and get lawyers pricing.
And what all did you have done on the car at this point
allan cooper at this point it was headers e85 and rotofab and ported Tb.
when you are installing that intake manifold since you are unplugging wire. do you unplug the positive on the battery terminals ?
SUP3R I did not, but it’s good practice to u plug the battery when changing parts out in the engine bay.
Great job

You will need to get it tuned for the new manifold. You might be able to get away with driving it without a tune but i wouldnt go wot unitl you tune it.
Tune required?
What better 95mm throttle body or 103mm with same mods
NA 95 would be my preference
How many washer did you have to put ?
I don’t remember it was a few I would just test a couple and then check to see if it would be tight.
Was this with a stock throttle body?
No i believe at this point I had the Soler 103mm tb
How did you put the side covers back on
They don’t go on perfectly but they can get snapped back on if you bend them just a tiny bit while trying to line up the mounting studs
should I do this or headers first?
brundage123419 headers would be my choice much more noticeable gains from that
How will this affect the warranty?
To get the best gains you need a tune which will void warranty, and i would only recommend the msd intake if you already have the headers and other bolt ons along with thinking of doing a cam in the near future which will all void your warranty.
Is that the LS1 heat shield?
No that is some aftermarket heat shielding material.
Is pray tuning your car?
Troy, No he is not. Pat G from Victoria Texas is the guy tuning my car. He's tuned all of my cars from the very beginning.
Pray is the man i bet the cat would be faster if he tunes it

Think this can fit on a g8?
This specific MSD would not bc its ment for an lt engine not an LS but MSD makes an LS version
Would It be better to get FBO or headers first
vlexlopez i would do e85 intake first then headers those 3 things first
Jorge Loves Speed thanks appreciate it 🙏 very humble guy
Jorge Loves Speed you mean intake manifold or like air intake
vlexlopez air intake and then usually porting stock Tb and manifold is very good also

Where did u buy it used and how much ?????? Because those were 1000+/- lt or ls.
Bought it used from another camaro owner but yes still cost around 1200-1500 used to new.
