Love all of your content and whuppit has been so great to use so far! I’d like to see a video talking about what you do with your cards that you deem not gradable.
Appreciate the kinds words (and definitely email with any whuppit related questions I can help with). A video on the non-gradeable stuff is a good idea! Honestly, my strategy there may be about to change. I had started using COMC for all of it, and I do like how little work is involved (they list and ship, you just set the price), but I'm finding a lot of the inventory sits forever, and their auctions are absolutely atrocious (though great if you're a buyer!)-I've had much better luck auctioning on my own and just being very clear about condition. May start doing more of that and see how it goes.
My last 2 orders in Nov and Dec have been in Research and ID for 2 months and 6 weeks, no movement. Even tho I didn’t want to, sent my next order to Beckett 😢
Ouch. That's brutal. FWIW, one trick that does actually work is to send two orders in the same box. For some reasons, multiple orders (even at the same level) have consistently gotten processed much more quickly for me (and for others that I've heard from).
@ thank you for the tip. Unfortunately for me that didn’t work because my Dec order I sent 2 orders and same thing. It’s crazy because PSA was pretty good with turnaround times beginning of last year but slowed down dramatically for me toward the end of the year.
@@Dog8myhomework Same. They definitely backed up towards the end of the year. I think everyone I've talked to has seen their orders slow down. Hopefully they can pick it back up a bit because they had been really consistent for me for several months in a row.
I agree with less player risk on 90s players. However, you get HAMMERED by PSA on 90s and early 2000s cards. Cards that look gem will come back PSA 7, PSA 6, etc especially for Jordan Kobe LeBron Curry.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to watch my pre grade accuracy very carefully. I've done well on early 2000's so far, but gotten killed on 90's. Then again, most of the 90's stuff I submitted were in my first few subs when I started, and I've definitely gotten a better eye since then. Either way, I'll be monitoring that SUPER closely.
@everycardastory didn't send them yet bc they sent them to me just recently I'm waiting to send more topps now I'm gonna send big order together save shipping
Left to right is pretty easy-just look at the grey box around the stats/description. Top to bottom, you look at the white space above the name compared to the white space below the copyright text. That being said, back centering matters a LOT less than front centering (even a 10 allows for 75/25 centering on the back). It's also always a good rule of thumb that if it's hard for you to tell if it's perfectly centered, it's hard for the grader too. Centering is really just about eye appeal, and some designs can mask centering issues (Chrome probably isn't one of them though this year :) )
Great sub! You'll be hooked on the older topps chrome spurs stuff soon enough
Oh yeah, just a matter of time. :) Biggest challenge is honestly gonna be deciding when to PC and when to sell.

I love the Prizm Monopoly stuff and have a few cool things from the last two years. Let's see you rip it.
I got my cooper flaggs just recently
How did you do on them? I went 9 for 10.

Rip it..... love to watch it
The cards you say are flawless, do you consider sending them to BGS to get black labels ?
No. Haven't really looked at BGS black labels-is there much of a premium over PSA 10's?
@ huge premium over PSA 10s
Appreciate the heads up! Looks like I've got some homework to do.
Curious how you look at the centering of the back of 2024 chrome cards. Having a hard time knowing if it’s worth it to send of these in. Thank you!
