He can only come back during a MAJOR show like WM or something, or on NXT. I feel like regular crowds wouldnt know much about him sadly
I think if he was given 6 weeks of vignettes. Tease him coming in. Explain his character. Explain who he's beaten and that he's a big deal in Japan... THEN get him right into his first feud would be the best way to do it. Tease him with knife vignettes and stuff. He has the character and personality to be a really great addition for WWE imo.

Fantasy booking: After Sami Zayn gets an upset victory at Wrestlemania, claiming the Universal title, strange things happen on SmackDown. The SmackDown hacker was back! And they were sending cryptic messages. Then at Backlash, Sami Zayn defends against Logan Paul. But mid way through the match, it is reported that serious damage has been made backstage, causing security to leave to handle it. Logan then goes for the lucky punch, but accidentally clocks the ref, and gets hit with the Helluva kick! But with no ref, there’s no count! But then, a masked fan rolls into the ring, beats up Sami, hits a GTS, and unmasks to reveal CM Punk. The WWE Universe is in shock, but then Logan Paul gets up for a handshake, and Punk shakes his hand… before slamming him with the Rock Bottom-Anaconda Vice combo! Security eventually roll out and Sami, Logan, and the ref get up. Logan goes for another lucky punch, but misses and gets sent into the corner, and gets hit with the Helluva kick! Sami retains! Like for part 2.

I think elbows to ref stoppages is pretty bad ass personally haha
@@MurfsYT13 I agree. I think it's just the moveset here for the game makes it look too simple and less impactful like a finisher. Like if he had them trapped in a crucifix type of hold, and he began raining down elbows on one side of the neck at a rapid speed, that would definitely look way more like the type of finish sure that you envision

Interesting story, however I would have AEW, WWE and NJPW sign a 20 year contract for them to work together. The main event for SummerSlam would be a Fatal 5 Way. It would be Finn Balor Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Kenny Omega (c) Vs. Cody Rhodes (c) Vs. Jay White for the WWE Championship. The reason Kenny Omega would a champion in this match is because earlier in the year, he would become the next IWGP World Heavyweight Championship as a part of this new deal by defeating SANADA at Wrestle Kingdom 18.

I’m not a big fan of vacating titles but in this case I think it works. Cody “restoring order” after dethroning Reigns after so long then bringing in a vintage version or a new version of the title with all the linage would be perfect for his character I think. Seth or Finn deserve a run for sure imo.
