Why can't we have life and tv like this?! Want my life here.
I used to love watching this
Always cracked me up when Jim teases Jimmy White
Come back Big Break, come back!
Please don't! It will probably be fronted by Jermaine Jenas and John Bishop 😭😭😭
@@MrStevenastley two footballers presenting a snooker-based game show... how interesting. 🤔
The hey day of Saturday nights on bbc 1 for an 11 year old me!
Brilliant wasn't it
This was such an innovative show
i remember this show from my childhood, made me love snooker :'D
Not many people like Jim Davidson, I've read some comments on other big break videos they're not a big fan of Virgo, but regardless to what people may think, without those two this show wouldn't of been as great as it was, & me personally if they ever bought it back would like to see them on it again
I love Virgo Jim not so much 😂
Usually just a bunch of lefty namby pamby types who go out of their way just to post the usual nonsense.
why watch it then?
Bring it back !
Thanks for all your hard work.
Anyone else joining in with answering the questions and getting stumped by “Who was the last president of America?” because you had to pause to figure out what the answer was at the time the episode was made?
Blue went in and Kim was cute. Loved Big Break
proper telly
He potted the blue! They screwed her out of that prize
The time limit ran out before the blue went in so she wasn't screwed out of the prize, just unlucky.
Unfortunately, the time limit had already run out
Man I remember this. The funny jokes, the terrible trick shots impossible to pull off :)
This was comedy time the cleaner times of jim Davidson and it's not like the new presenters are funny.
Jimmy White is a 6 time world snooker finalist, losing in all occasions
The 90’s was really the best of everything wasn’t it?
Simple springs to mind but I don’t know why.?
jim Davidson was top class on this show
Watching this as a child I had no idea he was such a racist misogynist...😮
And it is absolutely brilliant.
@@AlisonBryen LOL same
You were meant to say which footballer was given 120 hours community service for his kung fu styler, and the answer was obviously Eric Cantona
This is the most random combination of things I've seen in a game show... and yet I'm still watching it.
How do you mean
I’ve got a clime to fame my mum was working in fish and chip shop years and years ago jimmy white came in the chip shop and ordered his food my mum served him 😃
My mate Dave sold Jimmy a 8 ball
Screw the holiday, she got the teddy bear phone!
I'm in that weird part of the internet again...
The Starvist No you're not.
+blainyrules yes
Far from weird, this show is nostalgic for a lot of us 90s kids!
Great video
Anyone notice that the blue went in at the end?
yes, but the end of round buzzer went.
Yes The Blue did go in but not before Police Siren so sadly it doesn't count
its weird when Jim says Jim has a nice Barnett
What was the 90's fascination with naff looking novelty telephones. Red lips shaped, teddy bear shaped, hamburger shaped...
What John Virgo read out at the begining😂🤣🤣🤣
@ 7:33 Jimmy Jimmy by the undertones
Have a look at Paul Davies' Wiki page. It says he now owns his own snooker cue. I assume it means club. 😂
Lol, the blue actually went in at the end there...the things that can happen on a 6 by 12 eh? 🤣
Yeah i noticed that lol. Robbed!
"I'm banned from preston. What do you do then?"
"i'm a solicitor"
"ooh, you can get me unbanned!"
haha, this is the best humour.
26:25 the blue ended up going in. They should have given it her with her other prizes
Jim Davidson tried to make sure that the show was about himself
2nd March 1996
can anyone find the video where John Virgo couldn't pronounce the name of a players sir name? he needed quite a lot of takes to get it right and Jim was on the deck laughing his head off. ive searched but found nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the contestants looks like Rupert Grint / Ron Weasley!
@ 16:09 that trickshot is rendered Foolproof
23 march 1996 - orginal bbc broadcast
2nd March 1996
Saturday night TV has gone downhill 📺😭🤣🤣🦅😒🙁🙂
The blue went in the middle pocket JV should of given it
How many times did Ding, Williams and O'Sullivan lose?
Virgo was my favourite
They should’ve included the last blue ball, bastards lol
What question was asked at 21:51?
I know you asked this question nearly a decade ago, but anyway!
_'Which footballer was given 120hrs community service for his Kung-Fu style attack...[indistiguishable]'_
The answer is Eric Cantona though. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Cantona#1994%E2%80%9395_season,_'kung-fu'_incident_and_ban_from_football
This was a million times better than Bullseye. Jim Bowen would never shut up and Tony Green stood next to the board shouting out each dart's score was irritating as hell.
Bollocks
This must be from 7th January 1995
he said 50 lol
hello jimmy white my name paul brown i love to play snooker with you
jimmy white
paul brown
did paul do anything on the circuit?
Ben Richards not really made top 35 but never qualified for the world champs
semis of the uk
They should bring this back Snooker is dull and boring these days.O'Sulivan and 1 or 2 others are only worth watching. They need charactets like Jimmy , Thorburn , Davis , Alex and Kirk Stevens , Doherty and Parrot etc.Nowadays its bloody Murphy a yes man McLeod , Maguire , Gould , etc.
Yami Yugi123 This was a year ago and i was with u to a point, but did u seriously include Thorburn as an exciting player, wasnt known as the grinder for nothing.
That trick shot was rubbish.
Dawn is hot
Jimmy White clearly embarrassed to be on the show! Only there for the money!
Innocent days. Before Corona, lgbtqia, Ukraine, 9/11, wokeness and more horrors.
I'm pretty sure Corona existed back in '96, I saw it in shops even back then.
Political correctness started in 90s.
I use to love this show growing up little did I know I was watching a rascist
The show would have been better without Jim Davidson.
