Great video - I just finished Section 4 of the NEBDR on my KTM 890R. I wish I had that installed. My front end was all over the place. This will be next on my purchase list.
Thank you for the wonderful video. I have just installed mine and running the stock setting. Can you tell me what your final setting turned out to be for your adventures? Thanks
If you plan on keeping the stock bars then the KTM PP branded barkbusters fit great and have all the adjustability you’ll want. I decided to replace the stock bars with ProTaper Evo Husqvarna bend bars and switched to the Cycra Ultra Probend CRM handguards. The combo I went with works perfectly and clears everything. just fyi if you decide to go with different bars.
@@MobMoto You might also be interested in the Powercell gas cap. It replaces the stock contraption with a dirt bike style IMS gas cap. I don’t have a Scotts but I got tired of the stock cap opening forward.
Big +1 on the Barkbusters. Good adjustability and great protection. As you might have seen in my Croy Ridge Road video, I’ve gone down and done some pretty good off road stuff and the Barkbusters are tough
Im not sure but I had the spacer installed in the post on mine and it was scraping the bottom of the scotts. so its not all the way out on the arm but is still under the scotts if that makes any sense? Lol
Just purchased the Triple Clamp Moto Scotts damper combo. Have you adjusted any of the settings yet? Still like it and do you notice any differences off road vs. the stock street damper that came with the bike?
I like it, i feel it saved me from getting to wild back and forth at certain times. I'd say it's overkill for the street and the stock is good enough for mostly street riding.
Sure, I should of did that from the get go. www.tripleclampmoto.com/collections/ktm-790-adventure-r/products/tripleclamp-moto-steering-damper-for-ktm-790-890-adventure

I adjust it from time to time depending on the situation. The stock settings are good for most riding except tighter singletrack. Thanks for watching
Great video. Could you also show removing the original steering damper?
Nice Job! Great music too on the speed tooling too!!
Thanks brother

Which ones did you get? I like the taller ones and it looks like you got the extensions on there?
and you got a Madstad, I just got one as well! Lol
Some of us are doing Death Valley in the early part of february and youre welcome to join!
@@MobMoto Dude I might just take you up on it.
@@MobMoto That Madstad is amazing. It takes a little getting used to looks wise but it really eliminates buffeting on the highway
@@mikesbigadventures194 Ill keep you updated just incase.
