Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil will last 25,000 miles on 1 oil change!

Coming from Kentucky it's comforting to know that you in Nevada can find an actual Aamco service center to install Amsoil products. For whatever reason the shops here laugh or scoff at the products as if they don't actually exist. I've used Amsoil since 97 as a student in automotive technology courses on into becoming a professional technician. I know it's good. To still be in business since 1972 has to be the loudest indicator that Amsoil is the best in the world. Enjoy your videos. Take care

I took my 22 camry awd to The Car Care Nut for a transmission fluid change at 18k miles he put Toyota WS Fluid he told me it's not good to replace it too often because...long story. My car has now 29,400 miles so 11,400 miles after the first fluid change I decided to ignore he's advice and do another fluid change and replace it with Amsoil Signature series and it's my first time doing it ever on my own on any car. Took it for a drive and lol people say in videos doing it too often it's dangerous because you are cleaning all the debri/dirt and it needs some to grip and not start slipping well as you can tell I did the 2nd one early af but it's now more grippy and accelerates faster and smoother with less throttle on eco mode lol I love it. I was also shocked that my mpg was at 34 before I started the process and drove it to my favorite spot and was able to get hit 40 mpg and I wasn't even trying to keep track of it lol anyway you people can change yours at 60k or higher to each their own aha peace out.

Do not listen to those people that is a myth and sadly even some mechanics believe this it needs changed every 30k but if you want to push it sometimes you can get away with up to 60k miles before change.

I was so excited about changing the ATF fluid in my girlfriend's car, but she ended up getting it totaled last month because someone rearended it. It would be fixable but it's a 20 year old car, despite being a Toyota. I guess I'll have to start her new car off right when she buys one and get it going with AmsOil right away to keep it running smoother, longer and stronger!

I come from the Bimmer and Mini world so forgive me for my ignorance but people actually reuse their tranny pan? While OEM's usually tell you never to change the fluid I'm aware that's nonsense however whenever I do change the fluid I always swap the bridge seal, the tube seals leading to the valve body, trans pan with filter, magnets (because they get damaged as they heat cycle), ultrasonic clean the solenoids etc.
Usually this only costs about $150 in parts all together and considering a good fluid fill sets you back $100 on the lower end it just makes sense to do it all at once to avoid wasting that precious nectar.

Aren't you supposed to get the ATF up to the proper temperature range before putting the drain plug back in since it expands as it warms up and to get the proper fluid level? I didn't see in the video where that was done.

I also run the Signature Series Fuel Efficient with outstanding results in my Tacoma.. For anyone trying to make the switch HIT UP EBAN. If you are struggling to make the switch from Toyota WS, believe me you are OK . Yes! Toyotas do require a strick and specific fluid but Amsoils exceeds All them specifications. Your car will run like brand new, that is correct. And in my opinion even better because your transmission will run smoother, put less effort on your engine there for creating more MPG🤑..

@YouLubher I had my dealership give me a hard time using Amsoil atf in my 2016 Toyota Tundra. They made me sign a waiver that they weren’t responsible if something happened to my truck. I called Amsoil and they told me it’s covered under the Magnuson Moss warranty act ( I might have the name wrong) I V.C. My signature and added that it was covered under this act.
The Care Care nut he is a Toyota Mechanic and has a RUclips channel also says to strictly use Toyota WS in the transmission because he says “ it was designed for Toyota Transmissions”. They don’t give you a hard time about different engine oils as long as it’s the right Viscosity, so what is the big deal with Transmission fluid that meets the Toyota WS specifications? My Transmission holds about 12 quarts or a little over. The dealership only used about 4 quarts. There is a procedure to check the level in the transmission and it has to be a certain temperature and you should use a scan tool. Your guy did not do it right or you didn’t show it on the video. The Car Care Nut says using a temperature gun isn’t accurate enough and you run the risk of the level being off.

This is the video on Sean's car it's very similar to yours - ruclips.net/video/cEOX3NU0lQQ/видео.htmlsi=DZODvWNontvhtCKK
is like the other Dodges on the channel basically you drain the pin take it down clean the filter and magnet then you put it back and then fill it.
That's normal all the Dodges have a lifetime transmission and a full warranty so they say you don't ever have to change the fluid but eventually you'll wreck the transmission however in the meantime as you lose fuel mileage in your transmission shifts poorly it costs you tons of money in fuel in the car not performing correctly and shifting right so it costs more in the long run so you're still better off changing the fluid and using the Amsoil you can buy the fluid right here off my website if you have any questions in the future I can always answer your questions as your independent Amsoil Dealer the 6-month preferred customer will give you the best value on the products.
We have a video on the Channel with Sean and his Dodge Challenger basically it's the same transmission it's just like in this video I should say very similar it's not exactly the same but very very similar.

I just did a Drain and Fill on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Automatic Transmission. The short answer is YES you can have a mixture of AMSOil & The Toyota but I personally wanted all AMSOil in my Truck.
My truck was last serviced by the first owner at a local Toyota Dealership so I knew it had Toyota Genuine WS ATF in it. What I did was buy 3 Gallon AMSOil Signature Series Fuel-Efficient (which is Toyota WS compatible) and Drain and Filled 3 times until I saw that ATF come out the most transparent red as possible.
1.) I did this by first Draining the fluid and measuring how much came out (luckily the old fluid from Toyota was not extremely dark)
2.) I put the same amount of fluid back into the truck and turned the engine ON while shifting into all gears (i.e. from Park, Reverse, to Drive, etc) for 5mins or so to have the ATF work throughout the Transmission System.
3.) I did the same Drain & Fill process mentioned in Parts #1 & #2 until I saw the ATF come out very red like new 2 more times (A total of 3 Drain & Fills)
Note: On the final Drain and Fill you must check your Transmission Fluid Temp. This will ensure that the correct amount of ATF is in your Transmission.
** My Tacoma's Transmission Fluid Capacity is 11.5 Quarts****
FINAL THOUGHTS: The truck shifts great and smoothly and no issues. I hope this helps.

Hello, I have a 2010 gmc with the 6L80E transmission and it has a yellow fluid, it looks clean and the tranny is working well, I'm trying to figure what kind of fluid is that because all they are red. Do you know what brand is it? Or do you have any idea about what fluid could it be?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 месяца назад

I have no idea there are a lot of oil Lubes for all different transmissions and they all have their own signature color the color has no correlation to the Quality it's just a dye in the fluid.
There are all different options you have out there the difference is with the Amsoil is the severe service film strength under load will have the best sheer stability and also cold flow stability in the cold so you'll have crisp fast shifts when the transmission is hot period in the transmission will perform incredible when it's cold out and extend the life of the clutch packs transmission filter and give you better drivability and longer lifespan of the transmission.
With the Amsoil transmission fluid Signature Series ATF you are transmission can shift better than brand new.

So on a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, there is no Amsoil option for the generator/front electric motor , Mitsubishi states it takes Mitsubishi CVT J4 which is what I've been using since new. I also have a 2016 Outlander 2.4 gas and for the CVT when I look that vehicle up there is a Amsoil option for the CVT fluid. Factory fill is also Mitsubishi CVT J4. Since it's the same fluid just for different applications could I use the Amsoil CVT fluid in the generator on the 2018 plug-in hybrid?

Hello,Eben I have a question I want to do a transmission fluid change on my 2011 Mitsubishi endeavor V6 The mileage is at 158,665 I want to put amsoil ATF in my endeavor’s transmission I was thinking after I do the transmission fluid change will the transmission shift good or it’s going start skipping shift? Because somebody told me if I do transmission change I’m going to damage the transmission and it will start skipping shifts.

All you can do from below (meaning short of pulling the unit and physically dumping (the fried original oil) out of each internal component is drain the 50% sitting in the pan.
The other half of the original fluid will remain in the converter, the gears and clutch sets valve body and any internal filters (fairly common on 2009 and up now unfortunately).
By at least draining out what you can through the drain port and topping back up with this Amsoil should be similar to a full fill of the oe stuff.
It won't be "fully synthetic" because of the remaining original gunk but definitely an improvement.
Just don't wipe out the brown grit off the inside of the pan.
The clutches need it to "stick"
If you remove everything fallen off the clutches and apply band you may find it doesn't "grab" like it did before and feel "sluggish".
This happened to me only it was putting back the original mineral base (plain regular Dexron).
I had to have the transmission replaced after because it wouldn't grab like before (& it was getting progressively weak over time and I didn't know that you are supposed to change the transmission oil out).
Keep it simple just drain the fluid only and top it back up with the Amsoil seen in the video it should run as before only not be brown and stinky.
Actually what you should try is even easier!!
Get one of those plastic suck out device that you put the poly tube down the dipstick tube and suck out what you can of the original stuff and refill with the Amsoil if you can't access any drain plug.
The caution that your friends or whoever gave you is the same as me - which is don't wipe off the brown silt off the pan bottom. If it's right now "struggling to upshift" then the internal filter is gummed up. Only replacement of the filter don't hose off anything else if you find the filter is plugged with black flakes (extra bad sign😢)
Hopefully you don't have to go inside.
      Good luck 🤞
