It's looking like it's coming along really well. You guys are doing fantastic work! I just hope my rig can handle it in VR without taking too big a hit.
Much appreciated! Kandy will put some advice in the notes when we release it. There are some things you can remove in the Mission Editor if it becomes too much.
LMFAO! Bad news Kandy, I saw it again this past Thursday when I took off in the Phantom. For some reason, we still have a civilian passenger plane at Anderson.
Absolutely appreciate the feedback! We added fog this last week and decided to test it prior to release. Ran great on my machine. I may do an updated video on what I am running computer wise so people can bounce my specs off theirs.
Much appreciated! Should be out very soon. Just added fog. Check out the most recent video. I think we are almost at a point to send it out to the user files for everyone.
Thanks, really nice to see how perf are. You talked about VR issues at the beginning, just in case, a humble reminder for those that could not know: 1. before activating you headset 2. purge all of this cache in your home directory: AppData/Local/D3DSCache AppData/Local/NVIDIA/Glcache (if any) AppData/LocalLow/NVIDIA/PerDriverVersion/DXCache Saved Games/DCS/metashaders2 Windows will complaint for some files from the DXCache above, just skip/cancel the delete process for these ones. The rest is about parameters and is over a simple comment, but this above is really mandatory for any VR session. My 2 cents,
Outstanding advice here!!!! I purged the NVIDIA Glcahce and god what a difference! No issues on the map since then with fog added. I typically always delete the metashaders and FXO files from DCS openbeta after every patch. But I think I will start doing the same with the NVIDIA cache as well. Solid advice! Love learning new stuff.
Right now its just up for me and the guys. We will release this for everyone to download and host if they wish. Between real world work for the 3 of us, keeping up with a server and discord is a little much.
i havent played dcs since 2013 when the huey was first released to dcs and is the only dlc i have. Having just dropped $1800 on new flight gear for the upcoming msfs2024, I may have to consider reinstalling dcs and try this map/mod out shown in the video.
Glad our video inspired you my friend! We have a blast literally every Thursday flying this along with other DCS stuff. That is why I post so much. Thursday nights are flight time.

Good stuff, Mongo. Liked that modern jet Easter Egg sitting at Andersen. Ha!

Waiting with great anticipation, my friend! Love what you guys have been up to.

Sincerely happy to provide some help, thank you for sharing.
Just stumbled across this video, what’s your MP server going to be called once it’s up and running?
Right now its just up for me and the guys. We will release this for everyone to download and host if they wish. Between real world work for the 3 of us, keeping up with a server and discord is a little much.
You should name it, "Charlie don't surf."
That’s Charlie’s point!
Very True! I need to do more Huey Work.

Good lord, if you spent that much just to play MSFS, you might as well come be a grown up and play DCS.

When are you releasing for me to play with?
It is already released my friend! Check out my release trailer. Links are in there for downloads.
