- This Bach prelude accompanied me during all my music studies. It represents the passage from one work to another, from one desire to another. It was filmed in one shot to give continuity to the music and to move from one point to another without stopping.
« New Vision Project » is a collaboration with Etienne Vaillend. Through a series of videos, it will try to depict a personal artistic vision. It will include works that have a strong link between one another for me. This project will also show a common vision between video and music. All the works make sense in my personal artistic life and research of an artistic way. It’s a way to discover yourself and understand your own vision of art, with a new vision which tries to break some traditional musical codes.

Johann Sebastian Bach walking around in Paris with only one organ pipe, sorry horn, sounding like the cello, this suite was composed for - great idea and so beautiful realized. For me this interpretation was one reason to finally buy me a baritone sax. And it is - like all your other videos - a continual inspiration in questions of sound and playing. Thank you very much! Beautiful sound! I wonder if you tried playing with a Rascher mouthpiece? It’s much wider in size (indeed requires a bass ligature), but it produces a clean dark sound akin to the bassoon that’s hard to replicate on a Selmer or Vandoren mouthpiece.

That tone is insane. I guess if Paganini can sell his soul... only unfortunate thing is when you have to breathe - lol. It's less distracting than an interesting highlight of that this magnificent sound does come from an actual human. Those leaps... one day I'll stop blaming the tenor on smooth leaps like that.

I use it for my alto sax usually, and I have a vandoren (like robocop style) for Bari sax, better for air column.

I think that the Baritone Saxophone is really intended to be the Cello of the Saxophone family.
