Suggest making sure you don't have it free already through Epic (if you keep up with those) but yeah highly recommend regardless if it sounds like your thing.
yes 100% i have a couple thousand hours over the past 6 YEARS that its been out first playing without mods on playstation then switched to pc and its a whole diffrent story with the graphics reshades and stuff so yes play the game
Ahh yeah didn't try that. I think I tried archery in general from horseback twice and both times someone came up and ripped me off the horse. Didn't bother after that because then I was trying to get the sword back out while being pummeled.
@@davevsgames2071 It took many tries, and it felt like I was cheating myself of practicing sword fighting, but I could have also just waited till night to stealthily follow the one charcoal worker to Ginger when he brings him dinner
Couldn't agree more! This is absolutely one of the best games in terms of immersion that I've seen! Sure, combat mechanics makes you feel dumb sometimes, but I'm just doing hell a lot of practice to get it right. Plus, it feels like you're very in line with Henry for knowing how to fight.
Yeah exactly. Everything, including combat, really helped with that immersion and Henry's skills felt appropriate for this background. Really curious if in the sequel, he is a bit stronger and a bit more capable. It would somewhat make sense given his combat experience by that point. But honestly I am also mostly OK with more of the same. :)
Right now the sequel is set for a 2024 release (although I would say decent odds of it slipping to early 2025). But yeah, for this one, expect less polish than RDR2, but for me, I found this even more immersive (personal preference). Can get this cheap and you may even have a free copy on Epic if you grab those regularly.
I've been playing this game for 30 hours now. The quest with Father Godwin is something every rpg player should see.
The most traumatic experience of Henry’s life and players be sight-seeing and enjoying the rain.😅
Solid review, thanks for the info. I have been on the fence about picking this up but I think it is time to finally give it a go.

I just did the 2v1 camp thing the other day. Horse archery was the only way I could get the upper hand
