    strong running, Quint! I find weekly hill sessions and weekly long runs have been hugely helpful in bumping down my 10km time. good luck in Hackney!

      Thanks Dom! Definitely agree, long runs are key, and I wish I could do more hills but Amsterdam is too flat unfortunately. Do you have any races on the agenda?

      @@quintvanbeek oh I feel you! I used to live in Berlin which is likewise flat as a pancake, but this is (most of the time) a great thing for running. I have a half mara and full mara coming up in the next few months.

    thx for the tipps. great video. i checked out your strava and noticed the very low elevation gains. do you think getting stronger by doing hills is not that important to get faster?

      Hey Paul! Thanks for the comment! Yes for sure, in an ideal world I would do hills at least once every two weeks but since Amsterdam is pancake flat the only hills I find are small bridges 😅 I do gym and sessions on the bike to compensate a little

      The more I race it the more I like it but after having done marathons for a while it was tough!
