She Joined BET as a lawyer with degrees from Harvard Law School and Brown University (Both Ivy League schools - so you know). With her resume and 20 years of corporate experience she could have left BET and worked for the White House. Heck she could have sued Johnson for illegally firing her.
She was on Johnson's power and money- two things she was not getting at home from her hubby. She hoped to be the wife and that's why she stayed. Now she telling some story that does not add up.
She mad now because Johnson's wife is a billionaire from the divorce- she took half of Johnson's estimated $3 billion and the side chick, Ms. Lee, is now old, divorced and only has a $30 million net worth.
Now $30 million is nothing to sneeze at, but compared to her boss' ex wife, Ms Lee got what the side chick gets and the former Mrs. Johnson got what the wifee gets. Lee just trying to flip her script to clean up her "I've been fkin the boss" reputation.
And what does she mean "the relationship was going nowhere"? He was married and she was married. Where was the office affair supposed to go?

Now it was messed up that her Boss said if she leaves him she won't have a job, but why get involved with him in the first place, and put him in position to use you. My family is a former BET employee and blessed me with the opportunity to interact with her on several occasions…At every experience she was very kind to me and she treated me like I mattered and not like I was the help… it was the year Michael Jackson passed away and we even discussed Chris Brown being the lead entertainer for the dedication performance but she didn’t think America was ready to see him right after the Rihanna incident… we discussed how much Ellen DeGeneres was a fan of the Network, I visited her home, her offices, we danced, (Poison by BBD is her favorite song) she made sure I was comfortable and having fun. Bottom line she’s a smart and amazing woman and I believe her! She didn’t need to sleep her way to the top! Her talent, education, resume, and hard work did! #protectblackwomen
