Men can hide the number of children they have easily. I also dated a man who said he didn't want anymore children upfront, he was divorced with 4 teenaged children by the same woman. I was ok with it since they was in Oregon we were in Missouri, I didn't want kids and didn't have to deal with baby momma drama, he paid his child support. Everything was cool. So about six months into the relationship I found court orders for child support for 2 other children by 2 different women! WTF! So the man lied he actually had 6 children and 3 different mothers! It was a hot mess and turn off. I was so hurt, I thought I had a good honest man, but he was a liar and turns out a cheater (why he was divorced in the first place).

Honestly, a lot of men feel this way. Why not know who you're dealing with before sexual contact? I wholeheartedly believe he did the bare minimum like he said. I imagine fast food dinner dates and elementary school style conversations (if he answered calls) for a few days before sexual activity. However, it is sex with a stranger and a promiscuous woman so it's no surprise he's not interested in settling down and taking on the responsibility of fatherhood. A lot of women can't afford the cost of an abortion without the additional expenses for travel. Emotionally it's hard on a woman to be in that predicament and physically she's force removing a fetus from her body. The procedure can cause her never to become pregnant again, there are a lot of risks and mental anguish associated with it. All the while the deadbeat dad is somewhere with another woman with no care in the world for the situation with this broad he was just smashing a few weeks ago. There's no win for the woman, abortion will haunt her and being a single mother will derail her future financially. Yeah, I'd say it's much tougher for the woman. She'll never forget the deadbeat dad but I reckon he'll forget her in no time.
