      @vladimirlopez7840 I notice a big difference in my catching ratio when using fluorocarbon. Do you only fish with regular mono? I need to do a test on the boat. one side fishes with fluorocarbon and the regular mono. I will see what side catches more fish. I do use regular mono for my double hook rigs!

      100 lb braid would be too thick! Aare you going to cast at all? I would do the 50 lb braid. You can add some mono backing if you like but it is not required. I do not have a mono backing because the braid will last a 2-5 years and mono turns bad around one year.

      Yes, if j grand, u might even fit more. The old j braid will be around 400. The j braid fits 500m of 50 pound which is 0.375mm and the j braid grand will fit 500m of 80 pound bcs its also 0 375. Its just my guess, the number might be slightly different. Hope that helps

      @MMMLandscapeAndDesign 2 месяца назад

      i’d have to agree with @RealFishin on this matter. I was just fishing Barnegate Bay with my dad this past weekend. I had 35lb red power pro braid with 3 ft of fluorocarbon leader, he used just straight mono. Both with fluke jigging figs I rigged up (4 ounce sinker on the bottom with two teasers tied up a foot apart baited with gulp minnows and frozen spearing and squid. I caught two fluke and a rock bass, with many many other hits while he didn’t catch any 😅 so when it comes to fish that are more picky when they strike fluorocarbon does make a big difference

    For Popping and Stickbaits I wouldn't use 50lb braid use 80lb at least and you aren't going to feel the difference in diammeter because with 50 to 100gr or more lures you are going to cast a mile with It but lost them is much worst.
