Here’s an idea stick a random label on your scent bottles a made up name that will throw the copycats off 😅 I’ve changed the name of my scents just in case that happens lol. Happy birthday 🎉and well done on your success ❤
I change all of the names of the scents (apart from 2, but that’s 2 out of about 40 scents 😂). People copying the designs it’s what’s getting me in a tizzy 😂 I need to try and forget about it but it’s so annoying. Definitely going to stick some decoys about 😂
Ah don't ever feel bad about talking about your illnesses. As a chronic illness sufferer and small business owner myself I honestly feel your pain! Don't let the copy cats get you down, that will also affect your health. Take it as a learning lesson and brush them off, when you start doing well they'll always be vultures wanting to take a piece of it unfortunately. But I see your strength and know you can turn it into lessons learnt and that will help you move forward with much clearer boundaries. Sending you lots of love (sorry for the essay, I've not even finished the video yet haha)

Hi Jordan, just wanted to stop by and say that people buy from people, and your customers will always find you. Don't get stressed about copycats, those people will never make it far by doing so.

I've been following your journey from the start and it's been great seeing the development of WILDRACE. Congrats on hitting the 100K mark, its a great achievement... and also happy birthday! I have a question in regards to you taking time off. Say for example you wanted to go on holiday for a week... how does this effect Etsy/amazon orders? Is there a way you could turn your online sales off? Would you be able to pre-build enough stock... sorry if this is a beginners question to answer I'm just curious as to the logistics behind the situation of having a holiday or time off in a business like yours. Keep doing what you're doing - great little business!
@@roryguy-u7l Thank you so much! Urmmm so to be honest, taking time off doesn’t really work. I can put the stores on holiday mode but seriously effects sales when I return as did once in my first year. I have only had one week away in the past 3 years and left my mum to send out orders, but was way less intense than it is now so doesn’t really work anymore as needs attention all day everyday. I’m not sure what this will mean going forwards, it’s a bit of a tricky one for me. I think I’ll use quiet months like January or February to go away when orders are quiet and mum can maybe manage some orders and I will just leave loads of stock xx

Congrats!!’ How do you clean your funnel between use? Do you have one for each scent?
Thank you! I have just the one funnel. I let it completely drip out and then wipe with dry blue towel paper. Don't use water as it can mix with the wax and oils on your next pour. You can use alcohol wipes or cleaner but i find if you clean it straight away whilst its warm it all comes out with paper towels x

Add a physical watermark to your videos. When possible, film with a neutral decorative background. Oh, and never ever show your oils.
