It's crazy about Saddam Hussein. The US soldiers who were his guards said he was always in the best of moods every day, except one day when they didn't have his favorite cereal. Some of them cried when he was killed. He only knew them, troops, for a little while, but loved them like sons. I kinda hope someone makes a film of his relations with the US soldiers. It would be heartwarming.
I will add one that wasn't on this list: Despite how ironic that Ferdinand Marcos Sr.'s rule was borderline dictatorial and his wife Imelda being the epitome of Pinoy vanity, he was content in eating typical Ilocano fare. Simplicity in the midst of vanity.
