I saw Testament in concert and Chuck Billy sang, "I forgot the words!" during "Into the Pit", lowered the mic and I'm pretty sure he said, "So what" and smiled. I don't think a lot of people noticed as Chuck did a great job not panicking.

My dad was a frontman for a couple local bands back in the day, and he still maintains that pointing your mic at the audience is the best way to cover up for forgotten lyrics lol

I've seen Corey screw up snuff a couple times. He swears it's a really hard song for him to get through. But he owns his mistakes and the crowd hammers him the rest of the night lol
I don't know my national anthem word for word from start to end, but if I were asked to perform it in a stadium (assuming I wasn't overwhelmed with anxiety) I think I'd be rehearsing it a few times!

Crazy hasn't been a constant on the setlist since 1994. It's been played here and there. Many of Aerosmith's biggest hits like Angel, Amazing, Pink and Janie's Got A gun are also the same way.

The Senses one hit home for me. Whenever I forget or stumble over lyrics live I will resort to just making the sounds until I can pull it back together. Most people really aren't going to notice and if they do they will forget about it in moments as the music goes on.

While singing at a friends wedding years ago, I totally blanked out and forgot part of the chorus and the entire second verse. So I just sang the 3rd verse and final chorus and ended it. Nobody knew.
To bring up some other examples, Bob Dylan forgot his lyrics all the dang time. And we of course all know Robert Trujillo's "...stomach!"
