Thank you for the tour. We spent three days in Pagosa this past May, and it was wonderful. Soaked in one of the local rooftop spas, and had a great burger at Sage. Enjoyed hiking around the river. People were very friendly, and I'm not surprised Dan Fogelberg chose this area to live. So much beauty and tranquility leading to great inspiration for songwriting.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm thrilled that you had such a wonderful experience in Pagosa. It's truly a special place and I'm grateful to be able to share it with my viewers.
My Granddad and Grandmom Crouse lived there all their lives. They owned a house near the top of the hill going towards Durango. There was a little convenience store directly across the hiway from their driveway. My Uncle Worth Crouse donated the land, moved the building, and collected the items for the historical museum. I spent many happy hours in Pagosa. Haven't been back in years, and from this video, boy has it grown. Thanks for the ride down memory lane.
Passing through in the summer or 2019, I stayed the night and continued east towards home in the Midwest. Just looking around at the scenery while driving I remember wishing time permitted me to stay a few more days. And to be honest, I later remember thinking, if life permitted I’d never leave.
Glad you enjoyed it! I have videos on several of our communities here as well and will have more to come soon on this channel! Please let me know if there is a specific area you would like to see and I will do my best to make a video for you
I drove through Pagosa Springs in June of 2023. I stopped for lunch at a food truck that served some pretty tasty Mexican food. Great climate at that time of year. How nasty are the winters, and is Pagosa Springs much less cost of living wise versus Durango? Seems more laid back and less touristy than Durango.
I passed through in 2018, stopped at Kips Grill and then checked out the shops by the malt shopp. Love this little town. I am doing another road trip in a month and want to stop by again.
Crazy that we have met each other in passing. We shop at city market all the time and have several friends that have worked there. I hope you have the opportunity to make it back, Colorado is a special place!
So I am the type that likes to do all the touristy stuff. Yes, Tourist traps. Especially the Main Street that are lined with stores. I love shopping. Not Walmart.. but local small shops and touristy stuff. Does this town have that?
Hey Jon great video! I’m a barber and would like to open an old school traditional barbershop in the historical district area of Pagosa. Do you do commercial real estate by any chance or just residential? Thank you! 🇺🇸
I would be more than happy to come along side and help you in your Real Estate needs for your barbershop. We could even make a spot light video on your new business for the channel! Feel free to reach out anytime so that we can talk, 970-585-4028
Good morning... my wife and I are looking to relocate for 6 months out of the year and came across your RUclips video. We would love more information on land or a fixer-upper place around the area. How is fishing in the area? probably looking for land we would be able to stay on for 4 to 5 months during the summertime. Thanks for your time Kevin & Tiffani
Fishing is amazing! State record largemouth bass caught right here in Pagosa. Tons of native trout off the beaten path. Summers here are amazing. If you want to call or text, please feel free to reach out! 970-585-4028
Perfect 👍🏼 we are currently living in Antigua Guatemala, but we are going to move back to the US shortly. We have always loved Colorado and spent lots of time in and around the Durango area. We would love to see some vacant land that we could park a trailer on and build in a few years. I see there is lots of land for sale around the Pagoda Springs area. We would love to be out of the town a bit but close enough to come in for dinner or lunch and enjoy it and the amenities. Think we will be making a trip to Colorado in July and see if we can't find a piece of land or even maybe a house. We lived within the White Mountains of Arizona (Show Low) for years, and we miss fishing, hiking, and a nice dirt road drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Being in Guatemala, I can't text not having a US phone, but we do use Whatsapp to communicate. If not by that means, here is my email address cool.mountain.kc@gmail.com
It can be more expensive in the smaller mountain town since everything has to be trucked in. Fill up before you visit. The scenery is worth it in my opinion.
Im 25, looking to possibly move here from Tennessee. Looking for a small town and interested in working at Wolf Creek. Any info on rental housing market or jobs related to Photography and multi media? Went to school for film and media production.
We have several dirt bike trails. Where we are allowed to take out the side by sides and 4 wheelers you can take your dirt bikes. Some of these trails are absolutely stunning. We also have great trails for mountain bikes. This spring I will film some of the trails that you can take your dirt bikes on. My personal favorite is the east fork trail system!

Great Snap Shot of Pagosa Springs. Thanks for Sharing. Great place to retire?
Hey, thanks for checking out the video! Pagosa Springs is amazing, right? Definitely worth considering for retirement!
I don’t see many biking trails. Are there places to ride dirt bikes?
