This tune has been stuck in my head since 1990 when I first heard it. I was on vacation in the Summer of 1990 with my parents and we were in England. There happened to be a historic heat wave in the U.K. that year. My parents rented a car and we were driving to Wales where we eventually took a ferry across to Dublin, Ireland. I know at some point during my time in the car I heard this song come on the radio. I think I was listening to it on my Walkman which I took everywhere. I always wanted to listen to the different radio stations where ever we were. I've been looking for this song for such a long time. I knew the original version by Carole King but I could never find this one. I finally have! Songs for whatever reason serve as bookmarks in our lives. We attach songs to events that were happening at the time we listened to them. We also use songs to remember how we felt. I tended to be a moody teenager thinking about my love interest at school. I was excited to get home so I could start my 8th grade year and be close to the girl I was in love with. But now as an adult I really lament not fully appreciating that Summer trip to the U.K. with my parents. My Mother passed away from breast cancer in 2001. I never thought in 1990 at the age of 14 that I would only have my Mother around for another 11 years. If I could only go back in time I would relish the chance to be together again-the three of us- me my Mom & Dad enjoying time in each others company as a family....I'm glad I was finally able to find which artist did this version of the song. It conjures up so many memories.
SAW created some MASTERPIECES back in the 90s and we thank them for that cause we lived it, enjoyed listening, dancing and falling in love sometimes listening to them.

Just because something is for chairty doesn't mean it suddenly has musical value. Look at Elton John's Princess Diana remix of "Candle In The Wind" for example.
