MS Excel How to Trace or Project Corresponding Values On a Scatter Plot or Graph

After drawing a scatter plot or graph, how do you show a specific value of x and the corresponding value of y that it maps to?

What if I don't know the y-value? Is there some way to simply ask Excel what the y-value corresponding to a certain x-value is?

through match and index that's possible. Or else manually count with y=mx+b or other graph formula
