(1) I definitely had that same "Dugout" storage box when I was a kid, too. (2) I've got to make time to go to some flea markets and antique malls around here so I can find even 5% of the cool stuff you find.
My uncle used to run a plastic place called Bircraft. They made the desk paper weights and pen sets that had the roses carved in them. Anyways he made thousands and thousands of those card holders in the late 80s and 90s. Bircraft in Huntington Indiana
This was way more worth it with just the Ryan's alone. Plus the second year's Ozzies and Ryne rookie... absolute homerun! Keep it up Jon! The Cult will always follow.
What a value buy! Hope you can work out more deals with that seller! Yup, I have those style protectors. Not very safe, like anything from the 90's. Thanks Jon!
Jon you've been one heck of a 'stumble across a find' streak smh wow! You got your $$$ worth for sure and you might want to head back to her flea market table next weekend with stash like that as some are gradable from what it appears and my fav: '77 Nolan HL's/'78 HL's were awesome condition thanks for sharing!
A very interesting box similar to my stash of non-rookie year 70s and 80s HOFmers that I bought in the 90s. Back in the day, nearly all of those were common HOFmer cards that one could get for around dollar a pop or less and I had hoarded up on them like this guy had done. I got those along with countless not-rookie Mattinglys, Murrays, Fisks, Trammells, Whitakers, Younts, Molitors, Carters, Yazs, Carews, and even a few Morris, Strawberry and Gooden rookies from the discount bins. What's odd is that I have them stored in that same exact Dugout box, but each card in a now yellowed top loader. LOL! Sadly people don't seem to care unless it's a rookie card for anything 1978 on up (unless it's a Ryan), which is a shame as a lot of those cards are rather awesome.
Hey thanks for being here and welcome. I do live card sales on Wednesday nights and other live streams usually every other Tuesday but it just depends. I have certain nights throughout the month where I will be live.
You get better steals than anybody I've ever seen. What's really outrageous, $10 for a few H.O.F.ers and the rest just vintage commons is one thing, BUT there is a good player every card!! I'm bitching cause jealous, who wouldn't.
I can fill an old box with junk star cards and make a video misrepresenting how I got them too. This is fake and I think it’s click bait.
@@joebuffinton9112 how dare you come into TPIA Ministries and blaspheme such ludicrous ideas. The junk wax gods smite you.
While there are people who fake these things, I know that this is legit.

Rose, O. Smith, Ripken, Schmidt, Ryan, Sandberg, Aaron, L. Smith, Anderson, Henderson, Brett ???
WOW!!! greatest $10 box EVER!
Some 50 year old guy somewhere is like “Ma why’d you sell my cards?!!.
I've said it once, I've said it many times, and I'll say it again. These are my favorite videos 🤙🏻
Although nothing huge, what a great find. 80s collector's dream. Loved 1980 as a 9 year old.
Great buy
I know plenty of people who would pay $10 for the empty box. Thanks for sharing, Jon. Absolutely sick box of cards!
@@blindjimmyblaze1655 thanks for watching, Jimmy!
Wow what a bargain 😮 I loved seeing this thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
That was fun
They never have stuff like that at flea markets near me. I'm so jealous of that you with that box.
It’s just a matter of luck and getting there early!
That’s a great find for $10 and they look to be in good condition.
Wow! Nice!!
Great buy.
I think those cases came with a display that you could hang up. They slid on grooved rails.
Great box ! I have that dugout box brand new in a clear plastic wrap
Wow - nice score! My parents had those cases back in the 80s. They would put our school pictures in them.
Wow what a find

That’s like hitting the grand prize in a $10 raffle. Amazing find

What a sweet box. Great find!
Love your videos and I enjoy seeing you find all kinds of cards. Some are crazy finds.
Thanks Matt! Appreciate you watching!

Wow! That's an automatic SOLD in my book. Great find!

Wow! I'd have paid $100 for that box.....incredible find! It looks like Rogers......as a NE Ohio native!
What a value buy! Hope you can work out more deals with that seller! Yup, I have those style protectors. Not very safe, like anything from the 90's. Thanks Jon!
Hundreds of dollars in cards there.
Definitely a awesome deal! Enjoyed the video!
That was fun, thanks!
I remember the cases I didn't get a lot of them. I would see what else the woman has, nice box.
In CT in the mid 80's early 90's we called those cases "clam shell cases"

I had that box as a kid.
Unreal find
Very cool video keep it coming
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
If I didn't know any better..I'd say it was almost like our favorite rad Finder😂🍻
Awsome find!..that would make my day!
For $10, that box is a no-brainer. Epic find, bro!
My fav was SPARKY from 1971.
Dude you got a freaking steal! Id have paid a hundred for that box
Sounds good, I am not able to catch your auctions often, let me know if you want to discuss a sale. Thanks!
I’d take that all day long, what a steal!!
Wow, what a pickup
Thanks man! It was no brainer!
Nice find!
Those are the kind of doubles you want to come across, amazing, not going to get rich, but those would be great cards for COMC or bundled on whatnot
Really enjoy your videos .. I don't even collect BASEBALL Cards but still very interesting..

75 Mike Schmidt fave - thx Jon, all the best to you!
What a great pick-up, bro! Truly amazing buy!
Cornering the market on that Schmidt.
All day. Great buy.
Some nice baseball legends for $10, awesome score Jon 👍
awesome box
That was a steller find!
$10 Big Win!!!
Awesome find Jon!
Great deal
Nice find, Jon!
What do you think that box would fetch in an auction? about $150
Not bad at all. Well worth the 10
WOW! You should put together little sets and auction them off - I'd take one with each duplicate card!
You killed it
You can't go wrong with a tattered old box for 10 bucks
Terrific cards.
Sad thing about collecting nowdays most kids don't know who Nolan Ryan was.when I collected as a kid I knew who some of the old stars from the past.
I would’ve paid $100 for that box. Great find
The greatest spent $10 of all time.. 🔥
I s absolutely would have bought it. I liked the Henderson, all the Ryan’s and the76 Aaron
That Nolan 😮❤❤❤
Crazy box. Those cases were definitely a thing by themselves no plaques in the 80s
Yes. They were one touches before there were one touches 😂
I had a 61 Duke Snider in one since probably 87 until about a year ago when I rescued it to a top loader.
He shoots
He scores !!
You might need to grab a lottery ticket. This is definitely a jackpot
Favorite is the Aaron 75 RBI record. It's not talked about nearly enough.
Paul L, put the 1980 Ozzie Smith on the Omen Watch List!!

Great cards for $10😊
$10 is Amazing
Definitely worth the money you paid for it.
Do you want to get rid have one of the 84 top Ripken and one of those Mike Schmitz you have a couple of
And couple of them Nolan Ryan

Well worth $10 imo
Hell, $50 for that box would have been a steal
That’s more like an INSANE box. Get your money back on one of those cards
Also, I'll take the first easter egg.
I wonder if these actually came from the plaques you were talking about. Seems to be a lot of the same cards.

I have some good luck sometimes! I get to these places early but I don’t always find these kind of deals.
This box overexceeded your expectations!
$10???? Wow!!!
Outstanding find Jon! I d be happy to buy a few of those Ryan's, Brett's , monitor, and Ozzie. Schmidt too
Enough dups to make you feel like youve cornered the market
You know those are worth way more than $10 , should go back and give the guy a few more dollars to make things fair
