@@rahulverma8774 Just revisited the movie a few days ago. The movie does not portray preity and abhishek as villians at all. THANK YOU. I just watched this with my mom and the only time I cried was when he handed a picture of the father to her. I hate this movie with a passion. I couldn't wait for it to end and my neck started to hurt after the end. Dev is a horrible human. Rhea deserved better more than anyone in this film.
I still didn't know the first letter was "V" I kept thinking it was History for some reason 😂😂😂 SRK's character was super toxic but realistic I think, there's many people out there who just obsess over their one loss and never try to do anything new
This obsession of people that the main character has to be good or bad that person can just be simply a human being and it’s not that hard to understand that they were simply not in love and they were both Compromising in their lives
Basically the whole plot is about how if you get together with deeply insecure people who feel inadequate, they'll do everything to make you insecure instead and then find someone else equally as insecure and messed up to be with because having a good enough partner just doesn't feel right 😂 Also for the ladies out there RUN IF YOUR MAN JOKES ABOUT YOUR CAREER AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS because 9/10 woh joke nahi passive aggression hai bc 😂
It takes hard work and sheer commitment to reach to the level of recognising that not so noticeable old lady in church and attending flowers in 2 different movies.
Anyone remember Rajiv Masand gave a 5 star review for this movie, got panned by his audience, went and watched again and gave it 5 again. Unbelievable!
I remember when I watched this movie I was so so so angry that they glamorized the cheating so much and showed the cheating couple to be in this rainbow kind of beautiful love and all shit and I was literally speechless. This movie openly mocked the pure beautiful and sacred relation of marriage in the most despicable way and karan johar pulled it off with his star cast and pairings.
Omg yes! When I watched this movie first, I was maybe 5(my parents were watching it I was in my playing pen also partially paying attention to the movie) and totally misunderstood what the movie was talking about. I thought that the cheaters were exes who loved each other and got forced into marriage with people who didn't care about them and I obviously didn't know what infidelity was. But I watched it again and boy did I severely misunderstand the movie. Glorification of infidelity, toxic masculinity, body shaming, etc. Like what the hell? Why did peeps in 2000s think it was cool to make this movie?
@@Rose-gq5uv yeah I was also very young maybe 9 or 10 years old, but even at that age I understood what the lead couple was doing was wrong no matter how good their chemistry was. And I was hating every second of them together and wishing they went back to their spouses but that never happened. And then I was hoping in the end they should just lose each other as punishment for cheating on spouses because they were so good and didn't deserve cheaters like them. But man, that didn't happen either. And my favourite scene was when priety slapped srk when he attempted to pathetically come true about his feelings and infidelity.
@@ammaram1613 yeah right but there's a lot poeple who are in favor of this movie. I just don't understand why. Marriage is not a game. I mean like yeah your own happiness and joy matters but making your self happy by hurting others. It's just not appreciable. It's mean

The movie is hella problematic honestly Even as a child I used to get this weird tacky almost cringy feeling whenever dev was talking with riya The same with maya (like women calm down, not everything is about you being infertile holy shit) Like he has to give a weird toxic clapback/remark to every little thing his wife says And you just can't convince me that this movie wasn't glorifying cheating If you want another person while you are still married to one,you can talk things out ,get a divorce. And i know that cheating is hella common, but that dosent make it good right? The way the movie justified cheating didn't felt right at all -
This is so weird that we liked these types of movies back then and now we realise that how fucked up and toxic these are! Hats off to you Ankit! Keep up the amazing work.❤

As someone whose parents’ marriage had infidelity this movie used to be favourite. I liked it at least talked about this subject, however message and glorification of adultery were terrible. But the message of only marrying of you like the person and not for the sake of it was correct 💯.

What i loved about this movie was they never showed dev and maaya as right. They showed abhishek and preoty doing their best. But dev and maaya were horribly negative and in the end somehow preity and abhishek still were happy while these two will die fighting.. though it would have been better if amitabh was not in this movie. We must be thankful to Ankit not only he brings joy to many, but he had gone through such torture and watch whole movie in detail to bring gem (cringe) out of it lol
I am sure it was not a torture for him. Because his focus would have been on those stupid details, and cringe!
its actual good movie , youtubers ka toh kaam hee hai har movie ka mazak banana but that doesnot mean its actually bad
I was 10 years old and watched this with parents and relatives in a theatre. I slept after 30 mins.
This movie was not for 10 yrs kids😂
@@Madsong0 Yeah, it was for no one with a brain actually!!!
Never watched it and have intention to either but now I can understand why this movie hardly airs on tv unlike every other srk-johar combined k wala stuffs
holy shit you are everywhere
It's great to see Ankit being more consistent with new videos these days. Otherwise, earlier we used to wait for six months for a single video.
Because he had sponsor.
Ofcourse bro .... Mehnat kitni lagti hain banane .... He's made such good vdos .... He deserves a 100 sponsors

4:59 "she cares about the environment so she saves the cleavage" 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭 this had me in tears
What does that possibly mean ??😀
THANK YOU. I just watched this with my mom and the only time I cried was when he handed a picture of the father to her. I hate this movie with a passion. I couldn't wait for it to end and my neck started to hurt after the end. Dev is a horrible human. Rhea deserved better more than anyone in this film.
8:40 "aawww you so generous, bhag Ma-dhuri" 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
I still didn't know the first letter was "V" I kept thinking it was History for some reason 😂😂😂 SRK's character was super toxic but realistic I think, there's many people out there who just obsess over their one loss and never try to do anything new
💀💀
Yeah SRK was never the hero in this film.
I too thought that was History
This obsession of people that the main character has to be good or bad that person can just be simply a human being and it’s not that hard to understand that they were simply not in love and they were both Compromising in their lives
he was just plain narcissist.
Wow, this is the quickest Ankit bhaiya's ever uploaded his next revisit! Thnx for making my day. :D :D
Thanks to Relevel Sponsor....

Basically the whole plot is about how if you get together with deeply insecure people who feel inadequate, they'll do everything to make you insecure instead and then find someone else equally as insecure and messed up to be with because having a good enough partner just doesn't feel right 😂
Also for the ladies out there RUN IF YOUR MAN JOKES ABOUT YOUR CAREER AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS because 9/10 woh joke nahi passive aggression hai bc 😂

Good message to put out there sister!

This is what we call "quality video" loved it.
"Maya Cares about the environment so she saves her Cleavage" Damn good pun there!
Eh pun kaise pls explain
It takes hard work and sheer commitment to reach to the level of recognising that not so noticeable old lady in church and attending flowers in 2 different movies.

10:14 imagine singing like this in an Indian Idol audition performance, Anu Malik sacchhi mein aag laga degaa
Agreed!!!
@@ammaram1613 yeah right but there's a lot poeple who are in favor of this movie. I just don't understand why. Marriage is not a game. I mean like yeah your own happiness and joy matters but making your self happy by hurting others. It's just not appreciable. It's mean
Marriage is nonsense. Monogamy is unnatural.
"Maya cares about the environment , so she saves the cleavage"

The neck sniffing sound was so realistic and hilarious!😂
It sounded like a dog. 😄
man, you have a great sense of humor and you talk sense.
7:34 Was OMG!!! BEST PART OF THE VIDEO , ONLY DESI BEST DIALOGUE OF RUclips
The movie is hella problematic honestly
Even as a child I used to get this weird tacky almost cringy feeling whenever dev was talking with riya
The same with maya (like women calm down, not everything is about you being infertile holy shit)
Like he has to give a weird toxic clapback/remark to every little thing his wife says
And you just can't convince me that this movie wasn't glorifying cheating
If you want another person while you are still married to one,you can talk things out ,get a divorce.
And i know that cheating is hella common, but that dosent make it good right? The way the movie justified cheating didn't felt right at all -
This is so weird that we liked these types of movies back then and now we realise that how fucked up and toxic these are! Hats off to you Ankit! Keep up the amazing work.❤

Isme kya observation. Yeh toh srk har movie pe krta gai.
Yaar kya cheez ho tum bro, Mind Blowing 🔥 ♥
This makes us realise the actors whom we idolise never bother about what impact their stories can have...ofc it's the choice of the audience to follow or not but some PPL are so crazy about them they really imitate these characters 🙆🤦
😂😂 seriously... True

I was studying for my exams and this video really helped me forget my stress for 11 min.
Thank you Ankit

As someone whose parents’ marriage had infidelity this movie used to be favourite. I liked it at least talked about this subject, however message and glorification of adultery were terrible.
But the message of only marrying of you like the person and not for the sake of it was correct 💯.
When Ankit said 8:48 "mei to ek pencil bhi nhi fek sakta".. low-key literally minimise the screen a see the subscribers LMAO✨✨
I remember coming out of the theatre with a splitting headache. What a test of patience it was.
After this movie I was sure of what an average film maker Johar is.
I realized it long ago after suffering k3g with my mom. she is like kya bakwas hai yeh? (ki panpanani cinemare baba!!) yah glad to have a smart mom. and we never watch a kjo ever in our movie-watching life. also struck that average, and say bakwas. his every film is.

What i loved about this movie was they never showed dev and maaya as right. They showed abhishek and preoty doing their best. But dev and maaya were horribly negative and in the end somehow preity and abhishek still were happy while these two will die fighting.. though it would have been better if amitabh was not in this movie. He was really annoying
