I've only used a hat once in my adult life, for graduation, and I had a European size 58, which according to conversion charts is a 7 1/4 in American sizes. I'm going to a hockey expo this weekend and I'm going to try and get some advice there and in a worse case scenario I'll just use my S13 helmet as a goalie helmet when I play street hockey and invest in a new helmet that fits better.
I've measured my head several times now, and I'm consistently getting around 22 3/4. I'm looking at getting an Easton helmet, and at that size, I'm right in between a medium and a large. Is there any particular reason the video says to go with the smaller size? Or is that just preference. Also, I've really appreciated all of the videos IW hockey has for all of it's products. It makes buying things online so much easier, as there really isn't any actual retail stores around where I live.
What about round vs oval fits? I'm looking for a rounder shaped fit for my head & cant try out different brands where we live :( Would be for recreational use only....& hopefully under $100. THANKS!!!
Um, I have an X:60 Hockey stick i'm loving the KANE CURVE but i'm thinking of buying a Easton Stealth RS. I take a lot of wrist shots and some slap shots the rare snapper, I'm 170lbs and i'm stronger then the average 17 years old. My questions are what curve should i use with an Easton stick that is similar to Kane's "Hall?Iginla" and what Flex do you think is suitable for me? :0
I have an enormous head, and in order to make even a large helmet fit, I had to take out the ear padding. I've only ever tried CCM helmets though, does any company make a helmet for huge headed freaks like?
My head is 58 cm or ~22.83 inches and I've got an Easton S13 combo in Large, the helmet fits snug in the back and front but it feels really wide, is a helmet supposed to feel a bit looser in the sides? Also the cage feels extremely big, the cage covers most of my throat as well and the chin protector isn't anywhere near my chin, the last horizontal "bar" is like 1-2 cm below my chin compared to like 1-2 cm above your chin in the video, what's up with that?
hi there, im going to get Easton S13 combo, and my head is about 57 cm, so according to the size chart i should go with the medium, but im pretty concern about the width of the helmet cuz i have a pretty big and flat head, so should i pick the large one ? or is there anything besides head circumference i can refer to? thanks!

my head circumference if about 23 in, so a large would fit me best correct?
