Thank you for posting your videos. I started to Lock my 4 year old daughters hair and because of your videos and learning from you, her locs look great! And she is happy with them. I check her hair everyday making sure they look healthy moisturized and I have her wear a satin scarf when she goes to bed.

IKR! I constantly have people call my *locs* dreads, and it's quite annoying! I politely correct / educate them, though. *The only thing dread-ful are fake locs!*

There is something majestical about Rastafarians and their dreads; they were persecuted for growing locs but, to me, by calling them dreadlocks, showed their defiance and pride in being of African heritage. 🇯🇲
I know this may be late, but I actually just did some research on eczema and psoriasis. Turns out it's a fungal infection that's manifesting in the skin. Might want to look into it, but re-populating the body with a high dosage of probiotics and drinking lots and lots of water is a good place to start, combined with whatever folks are doing topically. Hope this helps!!
Finally, somebody that's gives real advice on enzyme! I have it so bad. For example, at one point, if I put any kind of conditioner on my scalp it would itch like crazy. I'm in the bathroom like whyyyyyyy lord WHY?!

My hair is extremely thin on one side too. I agree, that relaxers are the culprit but it's only on the side I sleep on.I've slept on the same side all my life. In my case it's also genetics. My mom never relaxed or wore braids but her edges thinned out considerably in her 60's.
I have a question. I have 6 year old locs. Ready to be rid of them. I have about three to four inches of new growth. Not sure if I want to really chop it all off. I'd like to let it grow for a few months. I'm not sure how to care for the untwisted hair. Any sugestions?? I cut one of my thicker locs in the back by mistake. I wet it and put conditioner on it and was able to comb it out.....considering that route as well..any thoughts?
