Holding them further down isnt necessarily a mistake. My old sensei instilled in us that the difference between demonstration and actual combat is inches and intent. When youre doing spins and tricks that require precision, you choke up on the chucks like you said. When you want to actually hurt someone and precision isnt overly important you hold them lower, increasing your range and force. I just got back into nunchaku after more than a decade and was practicing hand switches and managed to wang myself in the forehead. Got a nasty lump. Had i been holding lower and really swung with intent, i probably wouldve needed a CAT scan instead of a bag of ice.
Thanks for your videos! Look, I have ones made of plastic tubes and polyurethane covers or smth what's very lightweight. Do I have any restrictions or obstacles of all your cool moves?
I caught that too, looks like I gotta watch a tutorial on it then try for a week straight, find out I'm cheating and mine looks trash then correct it over a month or two.
Stworzona by kogoś tym pierdolnąć. Wymachiwanie tym dla zabawy to największa pomyłka współczesności.
Um.. I understand what you're saying and all.. But Bruce Lee played world competition ping pong players on camera with a (ONE) set of Nunchuku.. And He held them at the very end.. He beat the TEAM by Himself.. Now TRUE, He was nowhere NEAR a beginner, but to say 'you don't have control over the other chuk from the end is wrong.. It takes YEARS of practice to perfect, but you CAN have that control with practice..
That video was a Nokia commercial made using an actor and CGI in 2008. Bruce Lee never actually played ping pong with nunchucks. "Though Bruce Lee did not appear in commercials during his lifetime, his likeness and image has since appeared in hundreds of commercials around the world. Nokia launched an Internet-based campaign in 2008 with staged "documentary-looking" footage of Bruce Lee playing ping-pong with his nunchaku and also igniting matches as they are thrown toward him. The videos went viral on RUclips, creating confusion as some people believed them to be authentic footage." -Agency.Asia (The company that made the advertisement)

You should make a video on how to do nunchucks like Andrew Tate. That would be interesting.
