One thing not mentioned that the sheet bend is great for, is that 2 ropes or straps of different sizes can be tied together. A square knot will fail this. Especially useful when you want to tie a strap to the ground, but can’t make a taut-line out of the strap. Connect rope at the end.
Good morning sir I am ur new subscriber this very very simple I learn it to how to tie because one activity is there for me for cubs and bulbuls then I am seeing how to tie then ur video came and it is very easy superb👌😍 and best video👍 good luck
NO, Please!! Don't prolong ropes with that!!! ruclips.net/video/dagg2-If4h8/видео.html please see, why this is one of the MOST INSECURE nots!!! But it is fine to pull on a sheet or turpaulin Better is to use two completely different colored ropes. Anyway: Thanks for loading up the video!
The big difference is that you can use this knot whether the ropes are the same size or not. And the zeppelin or 69 knot can only be tied with two ends of the same size.
Thanks I needed this for scouts!!

Is this as strong as the "69" knot?
