Girl!!! I’ve done enough perms since 98’ to make my head spin. NEVER have I seen anyone roll a perm like this. Damn! You are a master roller wow. I’m just 😮
this is the exact style i want and NO ONE seems to understand this! ive been to multiple salons and they just dont get it. i wont soend my moiney until i find the right person.... SO, can you plz tell me exactly what pattern you used to get this look?
@hairbyclairechang3128 So, when I take my daughter, I need to let the beautician know I want a "Twist Spiral" perm? I don't want to say the wrong thing & she end up with something different. Thank you in advance!❤
People love acting like curly perms are new. This was beautifully done. Very few people actually have this pattern without a gaggle of gel or a texturizer themselves. Like how I've only ever seen large barrel curls on Irish people. Some patterns a rarely natural.
This is so beautiful . I just got spirolperm In my hair and it don't even look this good . This is just so beautiful I can not get over how it turnd out . I so wish my spirol would of tured out this good .
You can but that has to be done after getting the perm. You cannot touch or do anything to your new perm for 3 days. After that you can go back for a layered cut and styled with more volume. People that wonder why their perm didn’t hold is bc they did something they weren’t supposed to during that setting time and they also did t listen to care instructions afterwards either. For example you cannot brush it like you would straight hair. Using a clarifying shampoo every single time you wash it will also damage the perm. It’s a lot of work just like natrual curls can be a lot of work.
I was teased because of my hair when I was growing up. I was called Twister head by my younger older brothers constantly. I had a dark brown/black with natural red underlights that would appear while I was in the sun. My curls had a little bit of bounce and shine to them. My hair was frizzy at times, but would later become frizzier and actually become straighter in the middle and wavy like over time. My Ma used to blow dry my hair quite a bit. I've learned that blowing drying out your curls everyday can damage them. She would also pull my hair taut in the middle, and I wonder if the combination of heat and her pulling my hair straight for so long is what for the most part almost completely straightened my curls. I had medium thick curls that had a twisting, ringlet shape to them. My Grams made a comment, and said that my hair reminded her of a porcelain dolls, and it actually did have that appearance. I wish I had appreciated when it appeared that way, and honestly I was wondering if a certain type of perm could help give me at least hair style that resembles the curls I had as a child. My mother didn't really have much knowledge about working with my type of hair, and honestly was very impatient. She just wanted to blow dry and brush ny curls and be done with it. I have a little bit of West African ancestry on the paternal side, and Irish on both sides. My ma said my hair was like a combination of my Irish heritage with the red underlights, and a little bit like an african girls hair, too. I just want to have my curls back, because I realize how beautiful they actually were, and I feel like it was hard for me to appreciate the natural beauty of my hair while I was constanly being teased about how it looked.
I used to hate my curly hair growing up. Everyone i knew had straight hair. I would spend so much time and money getting my hair straightened. But now as an adult, I love my hair. I get so many compliments on it. Being different makes you unique. And its a great feeling loving what you have
I have a twin sister who has naturally curly hair. She used to get jealous that I would get my hair permed when we were kids. My mom finally permed her hair to stop her from crying about it. It frizzed out terribly. She grew to love her natural curls too. I pay someone to perm my hair to this day.
Ese tipo de rizo hace años estuvo mucho de moda, yo lo hacía con uno bigudíes propios para eso , que aún conservo, son más alargados que los normales , se llaman richies
I got a spiral perm 2 years ago and another spiral perm roughly 6 years before that and again another 4-5 years prior to that one… why do my spiral perms ALWAYS come out looking like ramen noodles?? The most recent time I even requested a spiral perm with the LARGEST orange rods and it STILL came out like complete CRAP!! I guess a perm isn’t for everyone?? (I have no color or bleach in my hair.. yes, natural color, and as you can read, I wait many years i between perms!)
This is exactly the type of perm I want 😍
Mee tooo☺
Did you get it ??
ME TOOOOOOOO, AND IM A GUY

WHO WOULD WANT THAT

Wow! Absolutely beautiful. I never a curly perm can get like that. I guess it’s all about the angle of the rod.
and notice how she's literally rolling the hair into spirals, not just laying it flat and letting the angle of the rod do all the hard work?

@Robbie👾 thank you
WOW! Yes you sure are! If I had this done I would literally never have straight hair again. I'd have this done regularly for the rest of my life.
I've done hair for 40 years and never seen that wrap technique, or those type of perm rods. Beautiful results! Where did you learn this?
Is there a full video? Really wanna learn this style❤
Could you separate the curls and add layers to make the hair bigger,I so want curly hair but I love the unruly kinda look. this is superb 👌
Yes definitely
Yes but when you first do it they shouldn't mess with the curl at all so it doesn't get frizzy while it's still settling

legit question here: what do i do when hair grows? i mean roots will be strait, right, can u apply perm to the roots only?
How do you care for them? What’s your wash routine? What do they look like after you wash them and sleep on them, etc?
The curls will stay pretty uniform if you don't brush hair. Just need extra containers
not brush my hair? is that a joke?
