Now that's what you call a family sticking together! We know you (Bill) do the presentations on the videos but it was great to see your brother and son talking about the business and their success. These are 3 guys I couldn't be more proud of and hoping for continued success as you move forward at your new location!
Wow, just wow. This video is amazing! Nothing, but the best all summed up into one video! Bill and the whole team... a rare breed of business ethics, family and just outright integrity. God bless you Bill in all you do. Thank you for being so good to so many of us, you and the team are atop of the game at what you do !
Thank you so much! It has been our family's pleasure getting to know you and now your family over the last 2 years. And awesome that you took time to fly from California to meet in person! And not sure when but we are absolutely coming to see you at some point.
PAISANOS! WOW! Epic video!! Family business of landmark proportions. I might retire and come work for the master. I know we talked about the original place and how hard it was to see it being dismantled. It was a tough day for you, Bill. Seeing this video and the pride and passion you have for the new place warms me thru and thru. Every time you list a car on Bring-A-Trailer, I can't wait to open the listing and see the rare cars unfold in pictures and video. "Best of luck Paison" would be the normal saying, but with you, Christian, and Anthony, luck is NOT needed. You guys are killing it on the daily....
JOE!! I wish I had some footage of your visit to MB too because I would have added it in! You are the ORIGINAL OG to come to Myrtle! What a fun time we had!
@@christianbugatticg No worries bro. We will do it again. Maybe I'll bring a Nashville Elvis guy! LOL By the way....the Ferrari? Dude....OMG....sick. it is just sick...
This is wonderful, Bill. I'm sure it hurts to not see your original location standing, but in this case I really feel it was something you needed to do to mark this new part of your business and life since you began dealing in vintage cars these last few years. It really is more of the soul moving into another body. I was born on July 17, 1978. It was a Monday, and even then I was fussy, being born breached, Mom needing a Caesarian, and staying in the hospital with me until the end of the week. I went home (as Mom said) "like a king" in Dad's '77 Mark V Cartier which they bought new a little over a year before. I know I bonded with that car from that first ride home. I always loved everything about it. A little before I was 10, the car was in a collision and was totaled (Mom was driving and was OK). For many years later, I hoped to find out what happened with the car, but never did. Eventually I bought my twin of the car that I am blessed to have since 2006. When I met with the previous owner (in Montana the previous year), drove the car with him for a while, and then parked the car in his garage, I went around to the passenger side and sat down for a bit. I looked around from that vantage point like I did years before when I was a boy in our car and said to him "I feel like I am in my Dad's car...". Recently, that stuck with me in a different way...I realized I really do still have that car...the soul from Dad's car just went into mine. The point is, your business never crumbled and it never died...it moved into another vessel. It's a good thing in this case. It's still completely valid for it to sting going past where it once was, so feel all you need to with that. However, use whatever emotions that conjures up it to feel good about yourself and how much you have accomplished doing something you love and were truly meant to do and bring into the universe. The new place is part of your reward for what you do, and doing what you do right. Enjoy it...
Wow what kind words!! And I love the story! And that is interesting to know what kind of car you rode home from the hospital in. Now I need to find out what I rode home in. My daughter rode home in a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado and my son Christian rode home in a 99 Jaguar XJR, which we got a ticket for running a stop light! Lol. My wife had a C-Section and the light was turning red but she said, DON'T STOP this seatbelt will hurt my incision. It was not RED RED when we started to go through it but it was as we breezed through. And there was a cop! Ugh!
Great to see you and your team/family. I know it has been a lot of hard, never-ending work to create an amazing business, but it must be a lot of fun as well. I am envious of the awesome cars that you have. I was a car-crazy kid and would get my dad or older brother drive me to all of the dealerships in September-October each year to pick up the latest brochures. I would pore over each one many, many times, dreaming of what it would be like to own one. Once I got my driver's license, I was able to go on my own. I would drive to the dealerships when they were closed, and I would walk around each car, studying the styling and peering through every window to see what the interiors were like. Sadly, someone in my family mistook my brochure collection for garbage ...and I never saw them again 😢 I wish I still had them, but seeing your beauties brings me a lot of joy and memories. Thank you!!
Well we all really appreciate your kind words! We all put a lot of effort into the business and all three of us are car guys. I got it from my dad, and these two guys got it from me! Runs in the family! It's fun even though it is a lot of work!
You and your family have a passion for preparing and selling cars to a standard that is way above what you will find at other dealers. First impressions are the most important and from the first video that i watched i could tell that here was a dealer that knew how to show the cars at their best and be very honest at the same time. Long may you continue to find and sell these desirable cars Bill.🙂👍💞
I have said it before and I'll say it again, I really admire your passion for cars and your business model that you have created. Very professional and knowledgeable. Wish you great success at your new location.
Bill, you got to me! All the stuff I hear online about the car business - and you post a story about family. Thank you for sharing the next chapter of Competition Cars - much success!
