Can't believe this channel does not have 10k subs.
Thanks! You know, the algorithm rules 😂
I love the COLD and SNOW more than HEAT i grew up in N. Idaho , Kansas , and Summit County like it's said nothing such as bad weather just a bad choice of gear and clothing 3-7-24 start in Campo thanks for all of this information 😊
Thanks for the video's.
I start march 13th.
I'm eager to experience it all.
You’re so welcome and have an amazing adventure!
A big thank you to Ned and all the organizers for setting up those sessions and providing them via RUclips and the podcast channel. Awesome insights and a valuable resource for anyone thinking about hiking the PCT!
You're welcome and so happy you enjoyed!
I start 3-4-22 both video's are very handy. Thankyou.
So glad and you’re welcome!
See you out there!!
Lol, I just asked about snow shoes in the first video. Your answer is what i suspected. Thanks.
Great! Glad you found your answer!
Thanks 🙏
You're welcome!
I think the pros outweigh the cons of starting March from campo, I don’t want to rush so starting early at campo sounds like the best option for me
👍🏼 Best info I have seen on PCT.
So glad you got a lot out of it!
Watched the Pro's and now cons and alot of great information for/against a March start. Makes me a lot more comfortable with decision on start date
Perfect, happy you got a lot out of it!
“Stranger in a strange land”… Nice iron maiden reference, or wherever that reference originated
It's in "Somewhere Down the Crazy River" - Robbie Robertson.
Looking to start an attempt on march 1st (tentatively) for a NOBO with completion in target of just before *august. Most of the reddit advice that I've received explicitly advises against this so it's nice to have some contrast.
Yes definitely gather information from multiple sources and make the right decision for you - depending on your skill and comfort level.
Thank you, very good info. Though I’m not hiking the PCT just yet, I am out there. I have made the mistake backpacking in snow following other’s footsteps one time and it could have turned out very, very bad, had I not finally realized the error.
Great that you are getting out there ahead of time!
