- I wasn't planning on uploading this video to this channel because it's not very ASMR-y. I recorded it with my cell phone too, so the video is very jumpy and all over the place. I just decided to upload this because I figured that it might be interesting to a few people.
I bought this fake cologne from a seller on eBay. When I discovered that it was fake, I opened a dispute with the seller on eBay and gave him a horrible rating. When the seller saw all of what I typed, he immediately gave me a full refund, and he didn't even ask me to return the fake bottle. The seller has been begging me to remove the negative review, but I will not do it. There's no telling how many fake bottle he has sold already.
Don't sell me anything fake and think you'll get away with it. I'm not stupid or weak!
Counterfeiting goods is f'd up. Your critique is to die for and this should definitely be the start of a new series if you ask me. I'm honestly blown away by your perception based on the dozens of flaws you identified on the fake bottle. I'll have to keep all this stuff in mind the next time I go out to purchase a new fragrance, haha.

Still relaxing. Also, it has been said that some fake/knockoff fragrances and makeup have tested positive for cat urine. The way you describe the smell, I'm not surprised. I am glad people make videos like this because there are people out there who are possibly harming themselves with whatever is in these fake products, especially makeup that could easily get into the eyes or ingested from the lips. Good work and great ASMR!

They've been counterfeiting Aventus for years. I prefer Insurrection II Pure which smells almost identical but without the smoke, costs $20, has strong projection and lasts for 6-8 hours.
Fleck I still haven't tried Insurrection Pure II yet. If I ever see it at a store, then I'll definitely test it on my skin.

My daily is Gucci Rush (since 2001!) but I've also been layering that & kors by Michael kors with Joop Jump!, a male fragrance but it really enhances whatever else I'm warring & acts as a base note too. It seems to make my perfume last longer, too! What do you wear the most?
melissastorn Wow! I'm sorry I missed this comment :O You're brave to layer fragrances. I've tried before, but I just couldn't master it. Joop Jump is nice, but I hate the original Joop. It's very "syrupy" and too thick.
These days, I do wear Creed Aventus the most (about 95% of the time). If I'm not wearing that, I'm wearing Creed Millesime Imperial, Creed Pure White Cologne, Creed Royal Oud, or Creed Virgin Island Water. When I get some more money, I'll also buy Creed EROLFA and Creed Tabarome. Yes... I'm a Creed fanboy, although there are some Creed fragrances that disgust me.
Didn't know what these were until I looked it up and they're going for $200+ for a small bottle dayummmm.

+Ninjahbutter I don't know if you're a guy or a girl, but if you 're a guy, you should try it on your skin. You might not like it just from testing it on a paper. If you're a girl, then you should spray it on a guy's skin and smell it. There's nothing else like Creed Aventus. I wear it nearly every day now. Sometimes I wear it when I go to sleep too :)

keltuc Haha! I guess that's why he kept trying to get me to remove the negative feedback. All he has to do is create another seller profile on eBay and start over again. His "perglo" store was only a couple of months old anyway, so it's not like he would have lost much.

BlackMaleASMR You're lucky that eBay has a relatively nice buyer protection program. You probably would've been screwed if you bought it from somewhere else like Craigslist. I got an iPhone from a guy on Craigslist once and it seemed to work fine at first, then a few days later it burst open from water damage. The guy blocked all my calls and emails after that lol.
I wonder if he ever got the money back for this?
I received a full refund. The seller even told me I could keep the counterfeit. I threw it into the garbage after I made this video though.

***** A seller is not supposed to list a counterfeit as a genuine product. This fake was listed as being the real thing.

I sure did. The seller issued me a full refund immediately. He also said I could keep the counterfeit. I did not keep the counterfeit though because it literally made my entire apartment stink. I threw it into a garbage dumpster outside.
This one on my list of things to get but I'm way to poor for $400 cologne lol.

It smelled like someone found a dead skunk on the side of the highway, brought it home, then ran it through a meat grinder. It was BAD!

At the time I made this video, the counterfeit Creed Aventus could only be found on eBay. The other counterfeit Creed fragrances could be found on multiple sites, but not really specific sites. So it's hard to say.

Well, I do understand where you're coming from.
But, if the seller is being legit and didn't know it was fake, then your feedback could potentially screw him.
As a seller myself I know how horrifying one negative can be.
Do you have definite proof the seller knew what he was doing?
I'm not trying to argue with you, it's just that he DID fully refund you and didn't even suggest at sending the stuff back.

Michael Rosen Yeah, Michael. I've seen a bunch of fake colognes in my time, but this one was the worst I've ever seen. It was nowhere close to the original. Creed seriously never wraps their boxes in plastic, but this box was shrink-wrapped. I had already removed the plastic before making this video though.

Brian Mossor No. His listing of the item had a photo of the real thing, but he sent me the fake. What he sent me did not match what he had listed. It's just like if you purchase a Apple iPhone from Amazon but you receive an Apple iPod instead. You weren't fooled in that situation. You were deceived.
