- I had a little extra time today, so I decided to make this video for yall. I know that some people enjoy that "point of view" style of ASMR video making, so I think this will be good for those people.
There was really not much to show in here. I like to keep my dwelling places dull. When I'm at home, I usually spend my time reading things on the internet. When I'm not at home, I usually spend my time riding my motorcycle or going to heavy metal concerts. That's my life.
I'm sorry about the jerky camera movements.
The way you pronounce "here", "gear", and "wear", I knew right away you were from St. Louis. I can relate to the $2 bill thing, but I only have one. That fridge though, lol. Relaxing video, thanks for the tour.

It is? Nope, I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, so it's just a happy coincidence. I love fleur-de-lis, and it's purple because that's my favorite color. ;-)
Fleur-de-lis? That's the name of the symbol? It is a coincidence that you have that as your display picture. That symbol is also painted in random parts of Saint Louis. I see it all of the time. I agree with you about purple. Purple is the sexiest color in the history of colors :D
That makes a lot of sense. A lady from St. Louis that I know from Periscope said that your hometown is named after Saint Louis, a canonized King of France, and the fleur-de-lis, while an ancient symbol, is strongly associated with the French monarchy. And yes, purple is sexy!
Ah! I didn't even know that! It does make sense though. A lot of areas and streets over here are in the French language :)
Coming back to this video after so many years. Been watching you since 2013 when I was fresh out of high school living with my dad, the same year he divorced my mom for cheating on him. Amongst other things, let’s just say you helped me get through A LOT back in the day when I was younger and didn’t have any control over my life or my emotions/anxiety. I only finally started being a functional adult about 4 years ago lol
Anyway just wanted to comment and let you know you’ve helped me (and probably others) more than you can possibly imagine. I’ve commented on your videos quite a few times over the the last decade.

Maika Izorē I don't know what it's called either, but it is certainly not a lisp
thinkitythings In English, you say that the person has a lisp, or that the person speaks with a lisp, or that the person lisps. It's not derogatory, as far as I know: it is a factual description of a person who pronounces many "s" sounds like "th" (or something close to "th").
A lisp would indicate his tongue protrudes more forward in his mouth so that it is between his teeth (making a 'th' sound) rather than behind his teeth, which is how we typically make an 's' sound. It almost sounds like he using using the tip of his tongue (rather than the blade of the tongue, which is right behind the tip) to make a higher pitched, prolonged 's' which gives it that unique quality.
Maika... based on your own description, it is not a lisp, since his "s" sounds are NOT being produced as "th". The comment below by aloco is much more accurate, as his "s" sounds are being produced as "s", but with a pronounced feature of the sound. It's possible that the space that his airflow is being directed from is formed smaller and tighter than usual, resulted in a more audible / higher pitched whistle sound.

Just found your channel. Love this video. Your voice is very calming. I am going to see if you have any whisper videos. I used to live in Phoenix...if you haven't already, you should visit in the summer just to make sure hell-fire heat is for you. It was too hot for me. Winter is awesome though!

I lived in Phoenix for two months 15 years ago. My body adores the heat. I used to work outdoors in temperatures that literally reached 130 degrees Fahrenheit, and I loved it! That work was done in desert environments too, including Phoenix. I wish I could move to Phoenix tonight :O
Sounds like Phoenix is definitely the place for you. I prefer summer, just not as hot as Phoenix. I am in AR. Moved here from CA. Most people think I am crazy for liking the humidity. Good luck to you in relocating. I will check out your other videos. I don't mind if they are older. I just love to listen to a soothing voice. It's my relaxation technique since I quit smoking.

For the next video can you try Camera handling? Thats one of my BIGGEST triggers. Like testing out a new camera and fumbling with it. Ugh, i love those sounds. I know what it is like to live next to a high school too. I try not to go outside between 1and 2 pm just to avoid these kids. They are terrible!

Btw, you have one door in the living room and one in the kitchen. Do both of them lead outdoors? I'm so fascinated with american homes, since i live in Sweden.
Hey Mahkaite. Maybe your place seems smaller because there are two people living there.
And yes. Both of the doors lead to outside. The door in my living room leads to the front yard, and the door in my kitchen leads to the back yard. I wanted to open both doors in the video, but I decided no to open them because it's always so noisy outside of my apartment.

I always tell people that Saint Louis is a horrible place to live, but a wonderful place to visit. There are a bunch of exciting and unique things to do here. The food is unique too, but not healthy. The city is very "spotty", like one neighborhood is wealthy when the neighborhood two blocks away is poor. I'm glad you like my accent ;)

+BlackMaleASMR I feel you. It's my number 1 favorite horror game of all time, but when I played it for the first time, when I was about 7 or 8, I really had to fight the tears at that ending. Only because my mom and older brother were in the room. Had they not been, I would've cried my little eyes out.
Aww :'( I think I was 20 years old when I first played it. All I remember is that it gave me nightmares!!! I seriously couldn't sleep after playing Fatal Frame 2.

Hey! Yes. This apartment was nice when I made this video, but it was literally falling about by the time I left it a few months ago. I'm so glad I moved into the new house.
And yes. I definitely ride during the winter. I was just riding today and it was 42 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll have to get used to it because it's my only transportation now.
@@BlackMaleASMR I got used to it pretty quickly. You really need something that goes around your head and covers your neck before you put the helmet on. I also have heated gloves. My BMW S1K has heated grips but honestly I don’t wanna use them because of the gloves. You can even get a heated vest for underneath your jacket. Stay cozy and stay riding! In Australia, it's the same thing as England. Shower and bath separate (unless you go to older houses made in the 50's and 60's, but even in then it's rare) 😊
What do you have in UK..? in Aus we mostly have separate showers and baths but a lot of motels and Hotels have the shower over the bathtub to save space.

I might seem that way, but it's not really the case. In the past 30 days, the ratio of male viewers to female viewers of my videos is 68.5 to 31.5. It's been that way ever since I started making ASMR videos :) I've always had more male viewers.
