I really like the Champion 20. I use it for late night practice in my apartment. I run my laptop into the aux. Guitar into the jack. I listen thru headphones. Works great for me. Have 5 other amps for performance needs. Champ 20 is versatile and fun to use. I recommend if you are searching for very good prctice amp at low cost. Thanks for your video.
Very cool, thank you for watching and for sharing your experience. I really like the Champion series too, all around great sounds at just about any volume. Rock on!
@@jebhank1620 You run a cable from your laptop headphone jack, into the aux input on the amp face, This keeps the 1/4" guitar input available to play along.
@@michaelbajorek1972 ahhh for input, I thought you were getting output into your laptop direct from the champ. was hoping I wouldn't have to buy an audio interface :(
I use mine in my office. Great little amp. I've got the new 25 watts amp. What's the difference between this and the earlier mark? The extra 5 watts may give a gnat's whisker difference in headroom... Pete.
Hi there, thanks for asking. You can absolutely connect an ME-80 or the like to the Champion 20 as it takes pedals extremely well. Hope this helps. Rock on!
how is your amp so sparkling clean on the green blackface setting? mine is extremely dark on that one and i cannot seem to dial that out even with the bass on 1 lol maybe it's the room acoustics idk
Hmmm, good question... I'm thinking it's because I have a very bright Squire Stratocaster, and/or because I roll my guitar volume down to 6 most of the time. Hope this helps. Rock on!
Isn't the whole idea of this amp not to have to have a bunch of pedals, it's a great living room amp, I play my backing tracks through my mini Laney and phone, and the guitars through the champion 20 perfect little couch setup

Hello there mate, I want to ask if we can connect a multi effects pedal like boss me80 to a champion20 amp?

That sounds like a cool setup! Rock on!
@johnmercurio The Champion doesn’t have fuzz in its built-in effects though.
