An athletic exploding drummer,throwing out beautiful beats to the crowds. I didn't realise how raw and entertaining watching a drummer go at a kit with such passion.Fantastic.
Pau is adorable. She is an absolute powerhouse of energy on stage, and I actually feel sorry for that drum kit.
Scary good. Never over look a drummer that can sing lead vocals as well. 5 stars.

It's always interesting to see a Pau cam view of a show as you can hear the small fills she plays to compliment the beat. She is so animated, full of energy and one of my favourite drummers ❤🤘

Totally agree. You can never hear the subtle bits that drummers play in a concert setting so I love seeing stuff like this. She is SO good.
I didn't realize how much I enjoy all three of their energy until I watched one of their sound checks. The music was there. Stage presents was completely mute!

It's so interesting to see and I think it helps create new fans and really serves the band well. Especially since they're all so likable.

I just discovered them 4 or 5 days now and I am super impressed in their talent that God gave them to use, in the very last song they did, talking about tired and arms hurting playing on them drums, she really played them like a TRULY AWESOME DRUMMER as if she been pounding them like a professional drum player for 20 years or more. God Bless all 3 sisters and may they continue on playing and singing for many healthy years ahead.

I hadn't realized that interesting pattern on the hi hat during disciple. (starts at 26:46) Pau combines power and those subtleties seamlessly.
Yeah, that caught my attention too. Very cool.
Very intelligent drum patterns. People get influenced by explosive fills & define a drummer accordingly. They miss subtle strokes that break the monotony of repetition. Pau is technically right up there with the best.
She does that quite a bit, check out Survive, specifically the Ted Talk at the University of Nevada. But there are many examples of Pau or Dany and Ale not taking the easy way and making their parts more interesting by embellishing what they play with interesting patterns and motifs.
This video just automatically played for me and I have no idea who these folks are. But holy balls….. they are super duper. This drummer is mesmerizing… and apparently she is singing too. The little bit of the guitars I can hear is intriguing. Heck yeah.

Fills are nothing...keeping a straight beat is everything. She does that very well. That's the key to perfect drumming. Clean starts and stops make everything sound good. [ professional drummer approved😉] keep your sticks up👍🥁
Not only that, but she "dances" while doing it. Hats off!
She’s solid, plays with power, and sings beautifully, both backing and lead vocals. She also has great technique. She has chops, but uses them tastefully. I think she’s great.

I was there with my girlfriend. This show was in May so the weather was pretty good. I have never heard this band before hand but they absolutely killed it. They opened for a bunch of cool bands too so it made for a fun show. I bought one of their albums the next day. Definitely will check them out again when they come back to AZ

Sheer genius. Not only one of the better drummers out there today, but singing as if it wasn't a thing. Phil Collins may be the only other one I've seen to do both like that.

I consider Pau as the feminine avatar of Phil Collins. Intellectually. Creatively.
On top of that she is conducting the live show with her laptop & MIDI pedals (which are visible in Pau cam).
She’s pretty simple with what she does. Kind of sounds like the same drum beat on all these songs. Wish them the best but she could do more to stand out.

@@ronaldmorgan7632 Her subtle touches that ensure nothing is repeated is often beyond average fans. Most importantly Pau's ability to define verses with intelligent drum patterns is phenomenal. People are so used to explosive drum fills & constant over drumming that they forget it is all about the song not the instrument.

They also know how to rock! A huge fan of both. Awesome to see girls taking it up to the guys

I love the Pau Cam !!! This is what it sounds like behind the scenes or from the band. If Pau did not have the In ears this is how he would listen, and consequently it would be a problem to follow the patterns of the songs and times. That is why the importance of in ears in this type of professional concerts, in which you listen to your colleagues and their instruments and keep the exact time of the songs through the metronome. The Warning Forever and Always !!!
Super Pau is ship captain, helmswoman and chief engineer in one person. I love to see her working. So much power, precision and feeling!

I did not write, "she is the best". And I am well aware that, being only 21, she has plenty of time to further evolve. I don't compare her to a one trick pony drummer in the focus of the stage lights. I know that, according to her drum teacher, she oftentimes is drumming too hard, I know that according to her sister Ale she sometimes can't hold the time. But I am very much impressed by her showwomanship, by her singing and addressing the crowd while drumming. I saw her handling issues like broken drumsticks, a broken drumhead. I saw her changing the leg. All this convinced me that she is a high potential and worth while being observed in her career.

Totally agree with you all. She's got all the flash and fills to impress, but I really dig her beats/grooves, and the off time stuff she does. And it all fits, she's not an overly busy drummer trying to shoehorn too much extra stuff in.
As a drummer, I like that she is performing the music first and foremost. She is animated while she plays solid and appropriate parts.

I love the Pau cams because it’s a point of view I rarely get to see. It’s cool seeing what things are like from where the drummer sits
Small observation. It may be a safety rule of the festival, or even OSHA, that everyone onstage must wear shoes. Pau is wearing Chuck Taylors, and did not remove them when getting onto the kit. Chucks would give her as close to stocking foot reaction as possible. Also when wearing the very flat Chucks, it exaggerated the height difference between Pau and Ale, who is wearing her customary chunky boots.
It's also Phoenix. Ground gets hot. The Warning played in the afternoon.Their set is only 25 minutes though.
Nice observation. I noticed the Chucks when she was drumming but didn't even think about it when I noticed how short she looked waiting to go on!😁👍
Inciteful camera angle. From the front Pau is a powerhouse goddess, but from the back----1-you can see how she is a driver. 2-it is a precision 'job'. 3-even between numbers full attention is required. 4-Respect for these timekeepers has gone up even higher. Thanks for this Pau cam

When The Warning started. Lots of blue seats (presumed they were empty). After eack song. You saw fewer & fewer blue seats.
Pau is like a Japanese taiko drummer, full of energy and personality. They’re also incredibly fit, and are the main draw of their performances.
They are similar.
She is like a Mexican. Hard workers. Skilled. Efficient.

The first time I saw Pau play the drums it was from their 2014, U-tube video, which was about four years ago. At the time of the 2014 video, she must have been about 10 or 11 years old. Ale was even younger, maybe nine years old. They did a cover of Metallica’s "Enter Sandman." I've been following the band ever since. I knew if she stuck with it, she would become a fantastic drummer. It appears I was right.

@@markweber1677 They are a trio and are not big enough yet where they can pay session musicians, plus they play on the backing tracks also, so it is still them, not some paid musicians doing what they cannot. I have no problem with that, plus they have had technical issues in the past where they lost the click and the backing tracks, and were still able to deliver a great show, confirming that they do not rely on the tracks, but just use them as a tool.
