  • A 4 CD overview of the work of John Carter . A hugely talented back room figure in Tin Pan Alley in the 1960s. The box covers his writing and performing and production for Carter Lewis And The Southerners, The Ivy League, The Flowerpot Men, Stanford Bridge, The First Class and many many more. Loads of tracks demos, rarely seen picture sleeves and an in depth essay of the history.

Oh Thanks John it was an even bigger surprise to hear from you. Iv'e thoroughly enjoyed it. I love these box sets material that might not have seen light of day.I am fortunate to have lived through the 60s as a kid and exposure to some of the finest music composed and recorded and you are up there with some of the biggest. I recall years ago Westside records sending me a Carter Lewis CD. I am originally a Brummie and Roy Wood is my uncle only 7 years between us .So I came into contact with music from Brum Beat area even as a kid.
