More people need to watch this show. This and tour life are the best out there by a long shot

I would recommend Players Meeting as well: a) the former Worlds champion is commenting and b) rich content (and nuances).

Not the Gannon Era!? Are you nuts haha!? Come on guys, you cannot diminish Gannon's season and the fact that he is pushing the sport forward. There are a ton of amazing MPO players, but this is without a doubt the Gannon Buhr Era.

The season isn't over so we'll see, but some people just put soooooo much weight on worlds because it's called worlds. I'd normally put this years worlds as being weighted higher than any event for me because of the strongest field (Though USDGC is arguably as strong and tougher to get into), the five rounds, and the two different courses. But I wouldn't weight it much higher than USDGC/Throw Pink. This year, personally, I'll be weighing it lower due to the intense luck factor at Roll Away Hill. Too man holes with crazy sloped greens with just random luck if you role ob or not. Also basically ever hole had OB within 20 or 30 feet which also amplifies luck factor based on the exact skip you get. Even fairways had crazy roll away luck factor. It's too bad because Isaac played really really well, but too much luck for me to weigh it heavily. Again though. Most people just see the word worlds and that's where it ends. To me majors aren't necessarily more impressive wins just because of the M. European Open has a weaker field than most elite series so I don't value it that much. Strength of field, number of rounds, fairness of courses. That's what matters to me.

In Isaac’s defense, a lot of restaurants close early in Lynchburg. I quite surprised Texas Roadhouse was opened late enough.

Wow, Texas Roadhouse is the bomb in the Midwest. They are the chick-fil-a casual steakhouses for most. Great food and staff. Sorry those out west aren’t good.

Still hate the weight given to Worlds. The majors too but especially Worlds as it's seen as the weight of at least 2 majors if not more. It devalues the other majors, but more importantly devalues the overall play and time spent by professionals of the sport. It's so perpelexing to me that we feel we need to arbitrarily assign more value to some sporting events when there's no discernable difference (1 extra round is not significant). Make all majors like 6-8 rounds and then there would be an argument to value them more. When we seem to agree that there's no amount of Elite Series wins in a season that we'd trade for a Worlds, that's f**king absurd. Why bother even having other events, then? They're not all top tier, but there's so many phenomenal tournaments and courses that should hold equal value given the variables for judging value. It logically makes no sense, not to mention it's disheartening thinking of the amazing play and finishes at the various Elite series and how insignificant they'll be for the history of the sport and players' legacies.
That being said, no hate to the winners. Congrats to Isaac and Eveliina on being the best this week and absolutely deserving to win!

Charlie's turn to desperately try to yawn in secret during the FPO section, haha. The yawns are an unstoppable force after staying awake for 40 hours.

FPO was a disasterclass. Winning worlds with one of the worst putting performances in the field is ridiculous.

It was Ivy Hill. It wasn't tuned for fpo so the big throwers were rewarded. Ohn the best putter in the division couldnt score there because it was just too long. Worlds should reward well rounded games not just big arms imo.

Wonder where this major would rank, if the word 'World' is removed from the title.

Well, one guess about Evelina. She is so bad (?) putter, because she is so excellent thrower. These things are CONNECTED! And what you are saying about Evelina can be said about Ohn and Silva as well (but vice versa). -- And, if I am not mistaken Evelina was coached by Mr Proctor, which raises a question about fair play (who can be cuddy). And, if Kristin would have played as she did during practice rounds (and together with Silver - doubles), she would have won easily! -- For Josh: if "Kristin era" is over (there is never a player-era in any sport), we will see next season. It seems right now, that she is more concerned about her personal growth and that is not "good sign" (I guess) for her as a DG player. I will not articulate my thoughts about that, but listen to what she said in that regard during press-conference at Worlds. It is personal for her (she is not like Paul McBeth).

Isaac is going to win USDGC. I’ll come back to this comment in a few months
Edit: wasnt the prize for first place MPO 2023 worlds also $30,000?
