Ive kind of obsessed with finding what basic shapes make up more complex ones (for example, a parallelogram is typically a hexagon/octagon matched with a triangle) so finding out warped loops use tresillo like beats is awesome!
The file itself is an unreadable mess since every single polyrhythm is stacked on top of each other (you can actually see this in the first few frames of the video). I used move track to make the level, but it messed up the floating text so I removed them in the final version and now it's next to impossible to edit any specific section that's not the very end. Honestly, any one polyrhythm from the video would be easy enough to recreate within minutes so I'd just do that instead. This was just a showcase video to get people experimenting more with this kinda thing.
This is the best way to summarize polyrhythms I've ever seen. The snare vs. kick actually let me understand the difference between them, thanks!

This is probably the best summary for polyrhythms out there and it has practical visuals
Wait the tresillo 2 is such a common rythm now that i hear it
Tresillo:2 and 4:3 are the two best polyrhythms.
love how funky 4:3 is
it's in 0:51 - 0:56 for anyone wondering
beats to pass the goddamn butter to
If we're purely going off by funkyness i think 0:57 is more funky.
4:3 has always been my favorite polyrhythm because its just so _funky_
Pass the freakin butter
not the old school dembow 😭
Alr this is how im studying polythythms now
alternatively: confusion girl soflan-chan
Tresillo:2 is very mexican-sounding.
