im sure some people find it harder to sightread, but as a geometry dash player (aka someone who memorizes literally every input to a level in a rhythm game) this is significantly easier than the original because the timing windows are wider.

Basically, all angles get changed by 60 degrees when converting a rhythm to 3 balls.
