Very understanding comment. Personally, I find myself in the same situation. I don't have the equipment to properly take care of rental property I live on (my landlord is excellent but I don't want him to have to do something that I should be doing) so often I will pull every single weed by hand to make the yards look presentable. Lot of land. Good exercise and nice to be in open air but it is a LOT of work. And, I have "contracted" lawn service, but some people are just not trustworthy. Oh well just sharing because I thought your comment to be very considerate. Blessings! 🙏
Honestly, as a landscaper/ gardener, I have to say.... although its my bread and butter, it is a silly thing. There are way more things to worry about in life than long grass. Of course it brings down property value etc etc, but, really, I don't think someone is necessarily "going through something" just because they haven't cut their grass, you know? maybe they just don't give a shit hahaha
I'm going through something similar. I'm slowly clawing my way out of a 2 year long depression, and over that time, I let my house fall into disarray. I'm having to pay upwards of $1500 to get it all cleaned up and tidy again. That's way more than most people would be able to do.

Such a beautiful home that stands up to time. They don’t make em classy and cozy like that anymore. Those old homes just have a character to them. That yard looked beautiful after and hopefully he’ll now find joy in keeping it up.
Spencer made another neighborhood look great. Having just one house with unkept yard really does change house it looks, especially the next door house

As usual, what a difference the before and after. Well done, sir. I am no Hank Hill about my lawn but how the heck do you let it go this long. I would be embarrassed to see my neighbors if my lawn looked as bad as the ones you cut. Mind boggling.

This is awesome Spencer I know some people out there are making comments about how people won't keep up their yards but a lot of time people just need a little helping hand like it's restart button so that they can keep on keeping on I used to help people clean their houses and in about 50 percent of the cases they kept them up because it gave them a sense of pride so thank you for your videos the world needs more people like you

Spencer, I don't know what city your in, if you have mentioned it, I dont recall. If the people you help, and so far, I see that they are appreciative of your services, and I commend you. Something as small as cutting the grass. (Albeit, it doesn't seem like much) to some people, it has to instill some pride in the homeowners that could not do it themselves. Thank you

I love these videos! My parents used to have a gardening business. The employees were primarily my parents. But my 3 brothers and I were part time employees. I am 66 yrs old and I do my own yard work. It is such a great feeling when you complete a task and see the results of your work.

No flack to this guy. Its really visible how much DUST and unhealthy particulates this kind of landscaping creates. I know no-one here likes kids getting asthma and respiratory issues and there's a really direct link with the two. That's why our guys is wearing a respirator!

Trim, edge, AND THEN MOW before blowing it all around. Using the blower the first time is just unnecessary and adds more work that doesn't need to be done.

If he was ever in Pennsylvania and came to my house, I’d be super happy. I’d pay him!! My yard is small but no one seems to know how to use the edger. I can’t do it or I would ( I have PPMS-Primary-Progressive Multiple Scoliosis-Heat and I are a no no. I’m a fall risk and I would fall and probably hurt myself. But just to have him do my yard would take him about an hour!!! lol I do love watching his videos. It’s great he does a house a week free. All the work he does do and in the weather he works in. I so would love to be helping people designing their gardens and planting mine and other gardens. This year, I’m going to design my gardens and I will get a thing to sit on and do it early when it’s not hot out. It’s been 2 years since I’ve done any real planting. Just the stuff that comes back every year.
I got 2 Azaleas ( one my neighbor had it and it was dead there was just a tiny piece of green. She said let’s see if you can bring this back to life. It’s taken time, but it’s growing. The other one eats his wheaties cuz he’s growing like crazy. I have decorative grass at the pond, right behind it. 3 tiger lilies ( they made babies ), I have bachelor buttons. Just a few things
This year I want to make it look pretty around my little man made pond 😊
