Some of these were perfect ....Biehn as Cyclops, Phoebe as Jubilee, Angela as Storm, Connelly as Kitty, Pearlman Sabretooth, Pfeiffer as Rogue, Sharon as Emma, but why Not Val as Angel?

I was thinking the same thing. Each time a new character came up I was like, "Oh, of course. That's a perfect fit." There's one or two in there that I think could be a little different, but for the most part everything was spot on.

Maybe swap Perlman and Stallone, so Perlman plays Beast and Stallone plays Sabretooth - Perlman had experience as a more brooding and contemplative yet nonhuman figure when he played Vincent in the 1980s TV series Beauty and the Beast. If that was done the inevitable Wolverine / Sabretooth fight scene would be amazing between Russell and Stallone.

I remember fan castings back in the 90s when there were talks of a live-action movie and people wanted Jean-Claude to be Gambit.
This was cool and really freaked me out, cos back in the day, my best friend and I did some dream casting and we'd picked Angela Basset for Storm. So it's nice to know we weren't the only ones who thought that way..

P.S. - The first X-Men movie almost happened in the 1980s. In the early 1980s a plan was floated to make a movie themed around the Dazzler character, which would have starred Bo Derek. The idea of lights and song in the Disco era was very appealing. However, the movie never happened.

I mean, seriously. This 80's X-Men needs to be made. Make it into a TV series, make it into a movie. Hell, do both! Just make it, and I am 1,000% confident that it would be far more popular than anything that has come out recently.

The reason the floor is sticky is not due to spilled soda.
Phoebe looks just right for her age here, but Jennifer`s likeness needs to be a bit more de-aged as she was all in her teens for this time period (see Labyrinth movie) & she did not look like what is shown here until 2 decades later in perhaps the mid 2000s. I can see why Phoebe was chosen as she looks like the one from the comics & the 1990s animated series, & Jennifer sort of looks like Elliot Page (formerly Ellen) from the Brian Singer film version.

Pretty much everyone here other than Phoebe look like their 90s selves... except Kurt Russell who somehow doesnt look like himself at all. Maybe the AI took his late 60s/early 70s Disney-era "Dexter Riley" look and aged that into the 90s?

As an 80's kid whose uncanny x-men started with the brood saga, I fully approve of that lineup. I was looking for at least one that was wrong, one that would not work. All I can say is that's a great line-up.

I really love how this AI casting turned out with all this great and high paid actors their all legendary in their own right but even so theirs no way marvel and sony could put them all in one package
